Here are two new videos for Pearl Abyss’ impressive game, Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert was one of the most impressive games that were showcased at the Video Game Awards 2020. And Pearl Abyss released today two additional videos explaining more about Crimson Desert’s world, combat, and development.

In the first video, Pearl Abyss founder and Crimson Desert Executive Director Daeil Kim explains the game’s technical ambition, story elements, combat system, and gameplay mechanics in a scene-by-scene breakdown of the TGA trailer. It also includes an all-new quick cutscene stinger referencing a pretty famous pop-culture moment.

Moreover, the second video features Co-Producer SeongWoo Lee, Co-Producer HwanKyoung Jung, and Lead Combat Designer Hyoseok Chae, who go into more detail about the combat system and world building on Pywel.

In case you weren’t aware of, Crimson Desert is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game that will come out in 2021. The game promises to feature an epic-fantasy world, and looks visually amazing. Furthermore, it aims to combine elements of narrative-driven single-player games with online multiplayer functionality.

  1. I really hope we’ll be able to turn off all those “fancy screen effects” on the pc version because all that blur and screen shake is highly unnecessary and visually annoying. ya’ll aren’t fooling anyone with that stuff. A clean screen would be very nice. That’s how gamers are easily impressed you do all this side show crap and they just go hype train crazy. How is this type of effet fooling people in thinking this is actually going to be any good?
