Diablo IV has been announced on November 1st. It is a dungeon crawler hack-and-slash action role-playing game from Blizzard Entertainment. From what they have showed so far, we can get a general idea of how the game will probably play. And from what I can tell, it looks similar to Diablo II.
Diablo IV takes place many years after the events of Diablo III, after millions have been slaughtered by the actions of the High Heavens and Burning Hells alike. In the vacuum of power, a legendary name resurfaces.
Lilith has returned to Sanctuary, summoned by a dark ritual after eons of exile. Her return ushers in an age of darkness and misery. Therefore, players will discover the world of Sanctuary as they continue the battle against the Burning Hells.
Players will join other adventurers and fight demonic forces. They will also uncover lost secrets.
