Here are twelve minutes of gameplay footage from The Crew 2

IGN has shared a video, showing twelve minutes of gameplay footage from The Crew 2’s Motornation as it drives, flies and sails around Miami, New York and Los Angeles. The Crew 2 will let players experience the thrill of American motorsports inside a fully redesigned USA. The game’s playground pushes physical boundaries to let driving and open world fans test their skills, solo or with friends, in nonstop competition and exploration.

From coast to coast, drivers will explore America and compete to become the greatest motorsports champion, by collecting a wide variety of exotic cars, bikes, boats and planes, and dominating the motorsports scene on the land, on the water and in the air. Players will find challenges and inspiration among four different motorsports families: street racing, off-road, pro racing and freestyle, and will be given a broad set of options among a wide selection of vehicle types.

The Crew 2 is currently scheduled for a June 29th release.

Enjoy!

  1. “The Crew 2 will let players experience… a fully redesigned USA.”

    Polygon/PC Gamer/Kotaku/Gamespot 10/10

  2. The cities look much more detailed and true to life than previously, so kudos to that. I surely hope they put in the same amount of effort into nearly all of them. Knowing Ubisoft, the map is something they could recycle for the next Ghost Recon or whatever, so good investment.

  3. the graphics look really good. there is just one thing, i’m just wondering if this has a story. or if you’re just going though the cityscapes. when it’s just exploring the map, things get pretty mellow over time. And I was feeling that while watching the 12 min video. it’s kinda mellow.

  4. How did the original pile of digital excrement, ever warrant a sequel? Chalk up Ubi’s checklist for “open world” and you have another Ubi pile of garbage in the making.

When will this cycle of trash ever stop?

    1. You see only what you wanna see.

I see open world seamless USA map with approx. 15 cities.

I see the next level of Test Drive Unlimited.

      1. “Next level of Test Drive Unlimited” is Forza Horizon. This game looks too mediocre for this title: primitive physics, relatively short cars list, angular 3d models – there is no point in the largest map for all that.

        1. Forza Horizon is not on PC for starters. (3rd one is Win10 exclusive so not on PC for me as well). It doesn’t have that big map. FH2 and 3 only have 1 city. The Crew has OK physics for an ARCADE racer.
Car list is OK. I never needed 500 cars in a racing game.

          1. Oh you dont need lots of cars but you need a big map ? With that logick play arma 3 . Biggest map on earth. And it have some cars . . . And planes boats like the crew 2 . . .

      2. Its a 100% acrade 0% fun “racing” game if you expect something more then i have bad news for you

        1. For you maybe. For me it was 100% fun. What other open world street racing on that scale do you know?

          1. You want bigger map ? Bigger isnt better . . . Nfs U2 have 50x smaler map and i had 100x more fun with it . Because its not and emty nothingless . But if you want a big nothing game go for it. 1 big city is enoug . You want street racing right ? So one big city is good . And its not xbox exclusive

          2. Yes thanks I’m aware of NFS and MC games. NFSU2 is 2004 GOTY easily. I was talking though about 2014 and 2018 GOTYs.

      1. That user seems to be a copy/paste SPAM bot. This copy/paste trend is actually very common here on DISQUS.

These are just bots, who copy other user’s comments across several websites, where Disqus is used as a means of communication. They “sometimes’ have multiple accounts as well.

I’ve had my entire comment text copied on several occasions as well.

You can FLAG such comments as spam though, so the mod/admin might block the user’s account, but it’s kind of hard to do this, because a new user will spawn again to repeat this whole copy/paste process.

These bots are actually trying to increase their “Reputation” level on DISQUS.

Each user has a certain REP level (low-high), based on his/her comment post history, but only the MOD and site’s ADMIN can view the reputation status, in this case it is JOHN.

          1. Like I said before, it seems these users are trying to increase their “Reputation” level on DISQUS.

Apart from this, I’m not quite sure why these bots spam the comment section.

I heard there might be “group” behind all this, but what is their real motive, nobody knows.

Because, it makes very little sense to copy/paste other user’s comments, just to increase one’s reputation, which doesn’t have any real benefits, in the first place.

  6. Ubisoft got lazy again, looks like a simple copy and paste of the Watch Dogs 2 city with some planes thrown in there, then charge full price for it.
