Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the follow-up to the 2015 narrative-focused Metroidvania title. The game is being developed by Moon Studios, who they also working on an action role-playing game.
The studio was awarded the Best Debut award at the 2016 Game Developers Choice Awards. Sadly, the game is for Xbox One and Windows 10 only.
Ori is a white guardian spirit and Sein is the light and eyes of the Spirit Tree. After being separated from their family, and finding them lost in a new world outside of Nibel Forest, Ori must reacquire their skills and take on new abilities to face off against the foreign land’s dangers.
Along the way, Ori will connect with the Wellspring’s many inhabitants. They will come to be Ori’s closest allies in the adventure. Embark on an all-new adventure in a vast world filled with new friends and foes that come to life through hand-painted artwork.
Set to a fully orchestrated original score, the title continues the Moon Studios tradition of tightly crafted platforming action and deeply emotional storytelling.
Below you can watch the first twenty minutes of gameplay.
According to the developer, the game will support Windows 7. Thanks
Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be released on March 11th.
Thanks Gamespot.
Chris was born in the early 80’s along with the very birth of home gaming. After spending many maaany drachmas on arcades, his father decided to buy him a PC instead of going bankrupt. He lived through the advancing and development of the gaming industry, having played TONS of games on all platforms. He is always honest and will never hesitate to give his true opinion on a game no matter what. Loves stealth games and dislikes microtsansactions, DLC and pre-ordering…who doesn’t after all?!

as if platformers weren’t boring on their own now you have to sit through cutscenes as well, too much autism for me to handle.
The first one didn’t have a lot of cutscenes, maybe 5-10 minutes worth at the beginning and pretty much none till the ending IIRC. It’s certainly nothing like a walking simulator or a Kojima game.
Yeah, you already have enough autism on your plate.
weak and predictable just like your sister.
No sister, no mom.. I have a step aunt though. Talk crap about one of my dads and I’ll smack the satan outta you.
And this is YOUR opinion, not enough blood and limbs for you huh ? …
Not enough goat ploughing for him
triggered.
no this is clearly not my opinion, this opinion comes from the former president of yugoslavia’s third cousin in the law (dad’s side of the family).

CHRIS, GIVE ME SOME ORI.
While the game is Windows 10 only, it is coming to Steam, not just Windows Store. Just thought I’d clarify that.

It`s either free or a dollar, know the difference.
for 1 usd you have access to 400 games (including Ori Will of Wisps) for 3 months. You don’t pay 1 usd for single game but for access to all
I see, Ori is free so long as it is the second game you download lol.
You pay 1 usd for 3 month access – and you can access to 400 games on PC and Xbox for free without any limits.
It works like Netflix or Spotify if you tried one of those services
You PAY 1 dollar and have ZERO games.
It’s rent only.
