Here are the first 20 minutes from Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds

Obsidian’s new RPG, The Outer Worlds, releases in a few days and IGN has shared a new gameplay video. This video shows the first 20 minutes from it, so we strongly suggest watching it. The Outer Worlds will be coming out first on Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store, with the game hitting Steam a year later.

The Outer Worlds is a player-driven story RPG. In keeping with the Obsidian tradition, how you approach The Outer Worlds is up to you. Your choices will affect not only the way the story develops, but also your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios.

New to The Outer Worlds is the idea of flaws. While playing The Outer Worlds, the game tracks your experience to find what you aren’t particularly good at. This optional approach to the game will help you build the character you want while exploring Halcyon.

During your journey through the furthest colony, you will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It’s up to you to help them achieve their goals, or turn them to your own ends.

The Outer Worlds releases on October 25th.

Enjoy!

    1. it’s funny when a game is on EGS, everyone here is always saying it’s sh*t, even if everyone else is saying it’s good or is excited for it.

      Must be coincidence amirite ?

  1. I am sick of seeing those square hair, sjw / feminist characters showing up in games, wearing suits, pretending to be a man and talking trash. This is in movies, in games. Its a huge crap show.

  2. Well thank Christ for all the bright way-points otherwise I might get lost…on the only path available. Ooo and highlighted, well, everything, circa 2005. Gotta say I cant f’n stand perpetual hand holding as though I’m just too stupid to find the only immediate interactive terminal/enemy etc etc. Overall this looks really quite shi tty, like a 10 year old blase fallout 4 B-grade Flash Gordon mod. Ive seen enough, I’m 100% out. Next please.
