The closed beta phase for Tom Clancy’s XDefiant is currently underway and IGN has shared a video, showing six minutes of gameplay footage from it.
In this closed beta, players can expect to see 10 unique maps, and five unique game modes to choose from. Players will also get to choose a “Defiant” from any of the four factions that were introduced at announce.
Tom Clancy’s XDefiant is a free-to-play, fast-paced arena shooter. The game promises to combine intense gunplay with personalized loadouts and specialized factions, as teams of gunfighters – called Defiants – battle for domination.
Players will be able to personalize their Defiant to match their playstyle. Players can choose their faction, traits, abilities, and ultras. Additionally, they can select from an arsenal of primary and secondary weapons, attachments, and a device to complete their loadout. Furthermore, they can tweak their loadout on the fly to adapt to an ever-changing battlefield.

I love that ARMA kept going with the tradition of Operation Flashpoint, while Operation Flashpoint 2 appealed to the masses and was f*king junk. And where is Operation Flashpoint now?
Gamers these days aren’t even given a chance to like tactical shooters because there’s nothing like those games anymore.
Whoever wrote this left the important thing out. If you look at the comments it’s full of angry people that don’t want this and think the best thing Ubisoft can do for this game and the tom Clancy franchise is to cancel this garbage.

Hate this, same with Apex, but I’m wondering why so many people didn’t dislike Apex in the same fashion. It’s a similar edgy cringe fest and also a blight on the Titanfall series (similarly to how XDefiant is a blight on Rainbow Six).
