Here are 8 minutes of gameplay footage from the new Battletoads game

Microsoft and Gamersyde have shared a video, showing 8 minutes of new gameplay footage from the upcoming Battletoads game. Zitz, Pimple and Rash return to Morph Attack their way through an all-new action-packed adventure of choreographed chaos.

The game will allow co-op with up to three players. As such, players will be able to “team up to storm through wild and unpredictable stages“. Teamwork will make the dream work in a drop-in, drop-out gameplay blast, filled with over-the-top combat.

The game will feature a unique hand-animated cartoon style, packed with memorable characters and locations. And to be honest, I kind of like the new visuals of the game. I know some may call them “mobile visuals“, but I find them cute and cool.

But anyway, Battletoads will be back for “a larger-than-life brawl across the universe that promises to be fun alone, and unforgettable together.”

There is currently no ETA on when this new Battletoads game will come out.

Enjoy!

    1. It’s not the hit detection, it’s people who don’t know that in a side-scrolling beat ’em up you need to line up your characters shadow with the shadow of the enemy you’re trying to hit if you plan on making contact. This was truly painful to watch.

    1. MS has to truly regret purchasing Rare and Nintendo must be laughing their a$$es off every they release a game..

  1. This is utter garbage. 10 minutes to advance three screens and nothing interesting happening. The NES game beats this sh¡t out of the water any day.

  2. This look sooo bad, which is a real shame as we’ll never get another from the series. It’s going to flop and they’ll wonder why, despite the horribly slow gameplay and horrendous nick jr art style.
