YouTube’s ‘Residence of Evil’ has shared a video, showcasing 5 minutes of gameplay footage from Echoes of the Living. Echoes of the Living is a new horror game, inspired by the classic Resident Evil games, and using fixed camera angles.
Echoes of the Living is a survival horror with fixed cameras inspired by the 90’s greatest hits but with updated visuals and fully 3D environments with current-gen graphics.
The game will have limited resources, puzzles & inventory management. Furthermore, players can expect all types of enemies, from bloodthirsty zombies and mutated fauna to other nightmare fuel creatures.
It’s also worth noting that Echoes of the Living will have multiple stories with their own point of view. Additionally, it promises to have a wide range of weapons, and it will allow players to upgrade both their weapons and their equipment.
Echoes of the Living currently targets a Q4 2023 release date on Steam. Surprisingly enough, although the game uses Unreal Engine 5, it isn’t currently listed for sale on the Epic Games store.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What a horrible thing to call a game, mate!
This is worse than a school project.
This looks super jank.
If you want a quality throwback survival horror on Steam I’d recommend something like Tormented Souls or Alisa.
The only thing getting nailed is your mom.
The game looks janky and has goofy animations.
this game looks, sounds and moves identically to the remake resident evil, re2 & 3 with tank control and fixed camera angle style survival horror games: a lvl of jank is expected. this is fine and looks f*king amazing. maybe go back to your basement, troll
