Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater feature

Here are 22 minutes of new gameplay from Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

Metal Gear Network has shared a video showing 22 minutes of new gameplay footage from Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Moreover, Konami has shared the game’s launch trailer, which you can also find below.

Since this is an X/Twitter video, it has really low quality. I’ve found a YT link, which I embedded below, but the quality is still below average. That’s kind of a bummer. Nevertheless, some MGS fans may still want to check it out. So, if you are one of them, you can go ahead and watch it.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater aims to stay true to the original story and game design. Its team will be improving the gameplay with amazing graphics and a seamless user experience.

Players can elect for a newly added and more modern control style. You can also choose to play with a classic control style that more closely recreates the feel of the original game. Not only that, but there will be a number of color filters to choose from.

As said, MGSD: SE will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, David Hayter will return as the voice of Naked Snake. This is another thing that will please all MGS fans.

I seriously hope that the PC version of MGSD: SE will be in a better state when it comes out than Silent Hill 2 Remake. Because, yes. To this date, Silent Hill 2 Remake suffers from traversal stutters, even on high-end PC systems.

In February 2024, Konami also shared the game’s official PC system requirements. According to them, PC gamers will at least need an Intel i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. The game will also require 100GB of free disk space.

Konami recommends an Intel i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. Plus, the team recommends using an SSD.

It’s also worth noting that the game’s Steam store page does not list Denuvo. I don’t know, though, whether Konami will add it at the last minute or not. Silent Hill 2 Remake came out without it. So, fingers crossed that MGSD: SE will not have it, too.

Konami will release Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on August 28th.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. This looks so dated tbh,. A full remake today should look, feel A LOT better.
The animations are comical, the gameplay so basic, the AI is stupid…

    1. It's not a full remake, just a graphical overhaul.
The last thing MGS needs is to be redesigned for 'modern audiences'.

      1. ah ok, makes sense!
I thought it was remake, and I don't mean re-imagining but like proper use of modern physics-based engine features, etc

        1. I get the confusion, it seems like an increasing number of these "remakes" made on Unreal Engine are actually the original code running underneath with UE just there to cover the visuals. Same thing was done with the GTA Trilogy mess. The animations do seem strange to me as well, it looks kinda like they've mixed the original animations with some sort of software blending tricks to make them look more smooth.

  2. You would think the world's richest man could afford a decent CODEC and servers for videos on his pet platform ……. On X every game looks like it is from 2008 …..

  3. The Remake, also includes…
Guy Savage mini game, it's re-done by Platinum Games
