IGN has shared a video, showcasing 18 minutes of gameplay footage from Ghostwire: Tokyo. This new first-person action-adventure from Tango Gameworks will release on March 25th, and this video will give you a glimpse at what you can expect from it.
In Ghostwire: Tokyo, players will explore a unique vision of Tokyo twisted by a supernatural presence. Players will discover a hauntingly beautiful city teeming with Yokai; vengeful spirits that prowl the streets.
Additionally, players will discover iconic landmarks like Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower, stunningly rendered with incredible detail. Players will experience the city frozen in time when the city’s population disappeared, and travel to the surreal underworld on your quest to save your family.
Furthermore, players will wield a combination of upgradeable elemental powers and ghost-hunting skills to combat the supernatural threat.
Enjoy!

This look like one giant Trash VR Game. Nothing to see here boys. This fool just waking around waving his hand around as if he’s begging for a cab in NYC.
This might be of interest to people who are into Japanese folklore about youkai etc. Also, weebs would pick it up. One thing that Japanese game studios generally get right is good/ok gameplay so that’s one positive here.
This game honestly looks terrible. Nothing I have seen about it makes me want to play it. It looks like a crappy first person mod for Dead Rising. They should have just made Evil Within 3
i hope it plays better than it looks because this looks like a wiiu game with motion controls and far cry stealth and combat. Also maybe japan enjoys exploring an empty tokyo but to me that makexs the game inferior than the yakuza series that are more lively.
Jap game = 90% certain it will be timed in fps… meaning 60hz cap most likely. When will most jap coders learn to code properly?
