Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Here are 15 minutes of new gameplay from Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

YouTube’s ‘ENFANT TERRIBLE’ has shared a video, showcasing 15 minutes of new gameplay footage from Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This video shows gameplay from the Egypt and Rome levels, which were featured in the game’s latest preview build.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will have a mix of combat, stealth, puzzles, and gunplay. And guess what? You can also use Indy’s whip. The devs claim that you can use it to climb around, distract people, or even take down bad guys. So that’s cool.

Indy will be going on a big adventure around the world. In the game, players will go to many cool places, like the forgotten temples of Sukhothai and the pyramids of Egypt, and even the snowy Himalayas. Just so you know, the game takes place in 1937, between the times of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be mainly a first-person game. However, during climbing or cut-scenes, the game will be switching to a third-person camera.

In August 2024, NVIDIA stated that the game will have Full Ray Tracing and DLSS 3.5. By Full Ray Tracing, NVIDIA obviously means that the devs will use Ray Tracing for more than one effect. As such, we can expect ray-traced global illumination, shadows, reflections and ambient occlusion.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming out on December 9th. And although Bethesda has not shared the game’s official PC system requirements, MachineGames has shared its minimum PC specs.

PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7 @ 3.3GHz or better, or an AMD Ryzen 5 @ 3.1Ghz or better. The game will also require 16GB of RAM and an SSD. Finally, MachineGames has listed the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER and the AMD Radeon RX 6600 as the minimum required GPUs.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. One thing (out of many) that I honestly hate about modern gaming, is the gatekeeping of demos from the general public. Everyone should be able to experience these demos for themselves. It's clearly ready enough to showcase to the general public, so why only allow influencers and yes men to see and play these games?

I know the actual answer, which is so they can control the positive feedback of the game… but it just honestly sucks so much. I miss the days when everyone got demos of games to play and experience them ourselves. We talked about it to our friends on the playground and at school and work without having to resort to other's opinions.

    1. There are still plenty of game demos. More and more games have demos every year available even on Steam with plenty of sale periods to try them out.

I've spoken about this till I'm tired. That's how much they hate you. These companies hate their customers. I've said, if they could make a game, get paid for it and not have anyone play it, they'd be just as happy. The epic store have actually proven this, but that's a story for a another time.

long story short, you're a pleb, we're the plebians. We are lower than low. So go to your overlords a.k.a content creators, to see how the game looks and feels. They've done everything to make sure the game doesn't get into your hands and now with the Advent of these shills at their disposal, you can kiss all of that even more goodbye. The funny thing is to watch many games father our the camp fire to watch their favorite shill ear fuq them about how good the game is, WHEN IT'S NOT!

      1. people dont know how true this is, the industry is taken by woke hipsters who think they should be paid by the government to make cringe stuff and its not so much that they are out of touch with their costumers, they hate you and want you replaced. Buy indie games instead.

        1. what are you on about !? woke hipsters !?
you sound like one of those basement dwelling incelias who cant get laid and loves to jerko off to trumpo while wearing your little red hats hahh you hate yourself and that is a you problem.

          1. you must be new to this site, also yes i do want trump elon musk and ron paul to destroy the deep state.

The majority of men are for trump, lets make it 90%

    3. Mainly it's because most people can no longer be trusted not to leak everything and post it on YouTube and Twitter. Or steal the demo and upload it to a pirate site.

Leakers and thieves ruin everything for all of us because leakers and thieves are inherently dishonest

  2. Okay the gameplay here seems reminiscent of Old Blood or some of the episodes from New Colossus. Itll be cool to check this out on gamepass.

  3. Is this Indiana Jones roleplays as Lara Croft? Also, the stutters were so bad you couldn't miss them in the video…

As for the gameplay, I can see the game commits one of the major sins of modern gaming that has been slowly driving me crazy. The main character talks to themselves every time the player does something. This is not only completely unnecessary, but it's also obnoxious.

      1. Well, I'm sure the yellow paint wouldn't be enough to give it away. We need to beat the gamer over the head with every sledge hammer we can find to tell them what to do.

  4. After what they did to this franchise over the last couple of decades i have zero faith in this thing being any good or doing any justice to the original trilogy.

  5. By Full Ray Tracing, NVIDIA obviously means that the devs will use Ray Tracing for more than one effect.

That's a weird description coming from you, John…
Just state that NVIDIA means path-tracing when they talk about "full" ray-tracing.

Anyhow, I'd be interested to know how this will run on NV's Pascal GPUs a.k.a. 10-series.

Because the minimum GPU is a Turing part, which was the first arch where NV explicitly designed it around the needs of low-level graphics APIs like Vulkan.

That's why even the venerable 1080Ti might struggle with this one.

  6. Looks insanely boring just like any other walking sim
It was either this or wolfenstein 3 with a tr4nny protagonist so who cares

      1. I don’t really care about story as long as I can skip it. What I care about is how weapons and shooting feel in general.
New colossus was great, youngblood was hot garbage.

        1. new collossus had better graphics but the level design and writing were terrible, also the old assault rifle and laser rifle were just better.

        2. Even the gunplay in Colossus is crap, and the enemies being bullet sponges doesn't help.
Sadly, New Order was an anomaly even when it took itself too seriously for a Wolfenstein game imho.

          1. For sure, but i miss the more pulp over the top action of the classic Wolfs, i don't want to remember about the holo kaust and being told how terrible war is while playing a game, i just want to shoot some krauts.

          2. I can put it in more generic ways if you want…i just want to shoot things in a satisfying way…damn i miss Ravensoft.

          3. the fact singularity was as good as it was despite its horrible development speaks volumes how good raven was.

          4. SoF 2 I remember how Insane the dismemberment was(even had it mentioned on the back of the box) now jedi lightsabers cant/dont do what a 20+ year old game did.

          5. Bullet sponges? Are you sure you’re not confusing Colossus with Youngblood? I hate spongy shooters.
New Order was great too, it’s one of the most satisfying shooters ever made. The story in video games doesn’t affect my decision to play them because I skip it regardless of the quality.

          6. No, i'm talking New Colossus for sure (unless they patched that up, i played that thing on release)…Youngbloods is an absolute disgrace when it comes to spongy shooters and manages to be even worse in that (all) aspect.

          7. Colossus never had spongy enemies, it never had RPG elements like youngblood. I’m pretty sure you either never played it or confused it with youngblood.

          8. I finished Colossus minus the side content of hunting the radio codes…the game has spongy enemies you goat lover. Where i mentioned RPG elements? are you high?
I didn't even bother with youngbloods.

  7. So this runs on idTech engine. Doesn't look that good.
3rd person animations looks super bad, Indiana is super slow, the movement and sprint speeds are very slow.

    1. That was my main take as well. He seems heavy, slow, grounded, and not in a good way. His climbing and and swinging didn't feel good to watch, I'm thinking it won't feel good (satisfying) to play either.

  8. did they downgrade the graphics?

Anyway no shooting and all those camera switches makes me thing it would be better as third person, it makes me more excited for the tomb raider revelation remaster, also if you like this game play deadfall adventures, its better.

  9. All you need to know about this game. The Director is the guy who made Wolfenstein Youngblood which was a massive flop. Disney involvement and his career being in jeopardy will make him bow down even more to the "modern audience". They are bait switching with deceptive marketing removing the butch woman that bragged was the co-protagonist in the reveal, just like Bioware never intended their transgender sermon indoctrination for kids in Dragon Age to leak.

In before someone claims Indy movies that actually made money in the past (the last one lost around 300 million post marketing) had co-protagonists when they were there to be a throw away romance until the last movie where two old men made a movie for their kids, when the original target was a James Bond audience. The entire reason Spielberg signed on the project is he always wanted to make a Bond movie. The character is what men want to be and what women want, just like Bond and without that you have no character. It's wish fulfillment escapism that no longer fulfills the wishes or provides the escape.

  10. It looks… Stupïd and boring!
And I find disgusting the lack of minorities in a game where you carry a whip!

  11. This is a (fairly) big budget AAA game published by Microsoft right? The main character of Indiana Jones is modeled as a young Harrison Ford right?

Then why on earth did they not get HARRISON FORD to voice Indiana Jones???

I mean, c'mon, it's an Indiana Jones game. Harrison Ford is INDIANA JONES!

  12. nice… big bad white people , shows less indi's face and shows the other woman's face all the time … ho! she has darker skin to…

A rope seems to be more entertaining to look at than any new game…

  13. All graphics and no substance makes Indy a dull boy.

Seriously though, I kinda like the graphics, but I'm very worried about all these little interactions that seem 100% scripted.

You know what game it feels like? THIEF 4.
It was exactly like that. Every little action was scripted, and the game always took control of your character, which felt horribly frustrating.
And in this video, I've seen scripted combats, scripted DOORS, scripted "stealth" mechanics… It makes me wonder about how much freedom we have in the game exactly.

  14. this game will bomb, Indiana Jones is a boomer property. For some reason this trailer did nothing for me. Machine games like Raven, Monolith, etc were pushing gaming/innovation but now stuck making licensed slop for their corpo overlords
