KRAFTON has released the Gamescom 2024 gameplay trailer for its Unreal Engine 5-powered life simulation game, inZOI. This latest trailer packs 7 minutes of gameplay footage. So, make sure to watch it if you are fans of games like The Sims.
inZOI is a life simulation game where players become gods within the game. This will allow them to change everything as they wish and experience endless new stories in various forms of life. So, basically, it will be a new The Sims game.
The devs said that inZOI will have a complete community simulation of every character acting on their free will. As such, players will experience unexpected events. Now I don’t know how legit those claims are. Still, that’s what KRAFTON claims. So, it will be interesting to see how dynamic the game world will actually be.
The game will offer a lot of creative tools. Players can design their character’s look and outfit, and even build their own custom home with a wide range of furniture and structures that can be moved around freely. They can also change different parts of their property, nearby roads, and even parts of the city they live in.
Earlier this month, KRAFTON shared the official PC requirements for inZOI. The devs recommend using an Intel i7 12700 or AMD Ryzen 5800 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
There is still no ETA on when the game will come out. However, KRAFTON will release later today a demo for it. This demo will allow you to create a custom character. Sadly, though, you won’t be able to explore a city or have some in-game fun. So, that’s a bummer.
Anyway, the inZOI: Character Studio will be available globally from 04:00 UTC, August 21 to 04:00 UTC, August 26. This Character Creator will offer over 250 customization options.

Game devs really need to stop using Dither Temporal AA for hair. It looks horrible. Temporal forms of anti-aliasing are bad enough, but dithering transparencies just because TAA and temporal upscalers can blend it and make it look transparent isn't OK, and makes hair look incredibly weird when the anti-aliasing is turned off.
