Project Spectrum feature

Gameplay footage revealed for Project Spectrum, a new PvPvE tactical squad-based FPS

Team Jade, the team behind the recent Delta Force game, is currently working on a new PvPvE tactical squad-based FPS called Project Spectrum. Project Spectrum will be released on PC, and below you can find its first gameplay footage.

Project Spectrum is a free-to-play tactical horror shooter with squads, monsters, and AI enemies. It mixes ideas from games like Hunt: Showdown and Evolve, using a 1v4 setup and PvPvE gameplay where you must fight both players and creatures.

The gunplay will feel slow, careful, and gadget-focused, similar to Rainbow Six Siege or F.E.A.R. The game also has a special “Sanity System” inspired by Silent Hill. When your sanity drops, you start seeing creepy hallucinations that make the game even more intense.

According to the devs, players will fight in first-person battles where teamwork really matters. Good positioning, clear communication, and working well with your squad are all key to staying alive in dangerous areas.

You’ll face monster-like creatures, enemy Agents, and powerful Executioners controlled by other players. You’ll also explore twisted, dangerous environments filled with traps, surprises, and unexpected events that can happen at any time.

As with all free-to-play games, the game will also customize your character. Plus, there will be a crafting system via which players can create items.

There is currently no ETA for when Project Spectrum will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy!
