First official gameplay trailer for ARC Raiders

Embark Studios has released the first official gameplay trailer for its upcoming title, ARC Raiders. This trailer features gameplay footage from the recent October 2024 Tech Test, so it will give you an idea of what the game looks in its current state.

Arc Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter from the devs behind the free-to-play online fast-paced first-person shooter, THE FINALS. The game will be using Unreal Engine 5, and it will be a free-to-play $40 title.

The good news here is that since this is an official trailer, it has high-quality gameplay footage. So, if you are a fan of this genre, you should definitely check it out.

Arc Raiders promises to drop players into a lethal but stunningly beautiful future earth, with hair-raising moments of survival and suspense. The game also promises to have some cool physics effects.

For those wondering, there is no ETA on when the game will come out. Embark Studios hasn’t also shared its PC requirements. So, we’re most likely looking at a game that will come out in the middle – or at the end – of 2025. Or at least that’s my assumption.

And that is that. Personally, I’m not a big fan of extraction shooters. However, I know there is a huge crowd out there that enjoys this type of games. So, it will be interesting to see whether this will be a success or a flop.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. when the woman doing the voice over sounds bored out of her mind that tells you all you need to know.

  2. >Arc Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter (…) and it will be a free-to-play title.

Immediately lost what little spark of interest I had in it.

    1. man i lost any spark of interest when she said "players will…". Didn't even need to see gameplay. They keep pushing this genre yearly thinking they're gonna go big like fortnite and all them bloodsucking IPs

  3. The first reveal looked like it had potential. Now the game just looks like some generic extraction shooter. If it wasn't for some of the developers being part of the old school DICE crew, how many people would actually care about this game? Not many.

  4. I'll keep an eye on this as long as it offers PVE as it doesn't look bad to me, but then I have 533 hours in The Division and 1,847 hours in The Division 2 so far.

Currently playing Heroes of Might & Magic III.

  5. why would you play this where everyone/thing is brown and ugly(west) vs last desendant/once human(east), etc. Plus the honor costs….I only play SP games so my hype is non-existent( at one point i had hope).
