  1. I have not bought a Call of Duty game since 2007 and this will not change that trend but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered might, we shall see. Hopefully they allow us to buy it separately.

    1. as of now theyve stated they have no plans to release it seperately even after all the backlash and hate messages so idk what would make them change. If anything people need to talk with their wallets and not preorder or buy this just for the remastered game. if their sales drop they might make a tie to it being bc of the sh**ty business decision of the remaster.

      1. Why would they announce having plans to release a standalone version when they know it would harm sales to the “Deluxe” version?

It’ll go standalone eventually, yes, but they’re not going to tell us it’s going to go standalone 6+ months before it actually does.

        It’s not a sh*tty business decision, it’s a smart one, it’s just a sh*tty consumer decision.

    2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, it’s the same game… you are not going to feel anything new, the old version still looks fantastic just play it last week…

  2. I’m considering torrenting the game just to get COD 4 remastered. I’m not paying 80 USD just to get the remaster. If it was separate, I’d gladly but the game.

      1. If it was separate, I’d do it in a heartbeat. This kind of crappy marketing scheme needs to stop before it spreads.

        1. Just wait it out then, The game’s not going anywhere that you absolutely must play it as soon as possible.

          1. Like I said, wait and find out. If they don’t then pick up the entire package for cheap during a sale. Torrenting isn’t the answer to anything.

          2. I guess they will, wait few weeks and i’m sure they will start selling it separately and very cheap.

          3. They will eventually, just not any time this year.

Regardless, I believe it was confirmed that the Remaster is just a key? In which case we’ll be able to snag them off eBay soon enough. No torrenting & cracked cheater-filled servers required.

      1. Oh? Really? Well, thank you for providing us with the inside scoop on Call of Duty’s denuvo adoption.

        No, wait……..

        1. No scoop anywhere, just brain, when was the last time a triple A video game got released that wasn’t using denuvo?that aside, we’re talking about activision, If it’s not crystal clear for you that this game is going to be protected by denuvo then, I’d assume you struggle with some sort of mental illness

          1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (Fall 2015) – featuring your latest in Den-

oh, wait….. My bad, wrong game. Must have been thinking of Battlefront there for a second, or, you know, one of those other games that actually did feature Denuvo last fall.

          2. I haven’t argued with someone that pushes and resists accepting logic so hard for a while, keep praying to santa because you’re going to have to use someone’s credit card

          3. Dark Souls 3 ? and it sold more than any denuvo games that released this year so far also XCOM 2. chances are high but it’s not 100%.

    1. Yeah, I agree with that statment. For me who doesn’t even like Call of Duty, this was kind of impressive.

    2. I was waiting for this article to say this IT LOOKS GOOD, seriously it is in freaking space with mechs and starships and dogfights and zero g and energy weapons, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT THEM TO DO?

All this hate about cod is getting ridiculous. the only thing this game have in common with cod is the name. Had it been called something else everyone would say it is great. But hey it is cod lets bash it.

    3. I was quite surprised by how cool it looked. I didn’t jump on the hate bandwagon, but Infinite Warfer trailer was unimpressive. But this gameplay looks really good.

    4. I agree, I still have serious doubts about how the Multiplayer will be (Infinity Ward hasn’t said a word about fixing killstreaks, so yeah), but that Campaign…..

      Wow.

    5. Now we know who are the few Cod fanboys in this site thanks to your comment. now we dont have to waste any time on these people.

    1. You barely comment on there but your previous comment from 5 months ago is featured there for all this time.
What is DSOG thinking? Okay, let it hang there for one month (as the name “Comment Of The Month” implies), but why for half a year (and counting)?

  3. no one will play this when it launches ill be playing battlefield 1 and titanfall 2 and the rest will be playing the cod 4 remaster.

  4. The dogfighting part of gameplay seemed overly epileptic for me and gunplay looked dull and same as in all those hackneyed CoD games. I liked the scenes showing the board of that big spaceship, though, but they were probably heavily scripted, so I suspect there was no real gameplay in that part.

  5. Wow, i’m really really impressed! I love how seamless the game feels…The MW Remaster bit at the end was juicy icing. I’ve gone from ‘meh to ‘ooooh’ 🙂
