THQ Nordic has just released a gameplay trailer for Titan Quest 2. From what I know, this is the first gameplay trailer for this action RPG. So, if you are a fan of the franchise, you should definitely check it out.
Developed by Grimlore Games, the team behind SpellForce 3, Titan Quest 2 is described as a handcrafted action RPG for a new generation of mythical heroes.
Players will set out on an adventure worthy of myth that takes them from picturesque beaches, to serene Greek temples, to places where no mortal has ever ventured, including the mysterious realm of the Moirai themselves. Players will battle classic creatures from Greek myth and the original Titan Quest, including Ichthians, Centaurs, Satyrs, Harpies, Sirens, Gryphons, and many more.
This trailer shows some of the game’s environments and enemies. It will also give you a glimpse at its graphics, and combat mechanics.
There is currently no ETA on when Titan Quest 2 will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

Well, this is a good opportunity to rant on how diablo ruined rpgs. You see before diablo rpgs needed to have good story and characters to be balanced and have good level design and loot. After diablo all of that was lost and every indie small studio who couldnt make a good rpg or write as tory to save their own life just made diablo clones. There are countless of those games and the market was so oversaturated that the original titan quest failed and they blamed piracy for it, because you know, a coop game that is designed to always function as if you are running a server even offline is the game you pirate instead of playing it with your fiends. Since then these kind of games have found their place with smaller indie studios who sell on steam not at full price and many of them are free to play. But what really did the most damage is how nowadays every game is a looter shooter with randomized equipment mechanics because of diablo and how you cant make a game without such system. Perhaps one day they will come to the same realization that larian did with their games. Eg the first one divine divinity was a diablo clone but it had story and some choices making it the best of these kind of games but then they switched to full 3d action rpg with the sequel and then went back to turn based combat. Baldurs gate 1 had real time combat because after diablo having turn based combat was lame, but now baldurs gate 3 has turne based combat because its better. I hope one day devs realize that the dont have to make looter shooters and souls clones because diablo and souls games sold well many years ago.

Titan Quest was boring and this looks boring. And a (bad) copy of Diablo III; That already was meh.
So, great.
