According to its description, strong teamplay, national armed forces, real locations, full body awareness and a versatile customization system will contribute to the authenticity of the modern combat experience enhanced by other essential elements such as a robust ballistic system, advanced armors and life-like weapons.

Produced in cooperation with military R&D centers and consultants, World War 3 aims to show the consequences of every battle in the context of a global war campaign on a strategic war map. The game will be coming to Steam in Fall 2018.

    1. Which is a good thing, since we love BF4, but gets tired of the same same all the time while also getting disappointed by new BF installments.

        1. But were so tired of BF4, at least I am. Besides, that build probably is Alpha build. I wound’t judge it so hard yet. I rather play WW3 than SJW5

          1. I can’t judge it honestly without playing it myself, all I can do is give first impressions from that gameplay video.

      1. OH YEAH? Lets see what you wrote in just cause 4 article, just one article before this one

“Yeah, just create a big open empty world and throw in some generic sh*t + some michael bay action effects and call it the day…

        *gasp*

        Give me Metro Exodus already!”

        ??????????????????????????????

        WTF?

This is literally the same, generic game some open empty maps and michael bay action effects and call it a day.

  1. Tries way too hard to be a battlefield game. It looks like a boring version of battlefield that is in alpha. online shooter trend needs to die.

    1. At least add a non linear non scripted campaign that you can command forces and take control of any unit in the map…that would be fun.

      1. Honestly seeing how lackluster singeplayer parts of battlefield games are, a skirmish mode with decent bots does it for me, battlefield 2 has really good and quality mods that add hundreds of hours of replayability. Imagine something like that for Bad company 2 or BF3.

    2. Small studios don’t have the budget to make multiplayer (servers, netcode) and singleplayer (AI). A Battlefield game of the modern format is already an extremely broad range of systems that all have to be set up and work together. Add AI and a bunch of singleplayer levels to that and no small team could ever get it done. So they have to choose, SP or MP. And they choose MP because SP has been absolutely barren, SP games have the disadvantage that they don’t spread via people asking each other to group up and play together. Maybe a SP game that offers online COOP could work in today’s market, that’s been my hope.

      1. First of all this does not look bad
Secondly i wanted modern combat not ww2

Ah and bf3 blue tint and lens flare on everything is horrible

          1. WW2? more like SJWW2
where is the gray hopeless theme? the loud crunching of 88’s shooting planes? paratroopers getting shot mid air?
            German Tigers decimating the fields?

all i see is some rainbow F*ggotry mixed Fortnight characters larping as WW2 soliders
it’s rather embarrassing, even for EA.

          2. I agree with you though… Bit sad to see WW2 so upbeat and tainted/influenced. But it is what it is, no reason to bust the juice over it.

          1. You are the one that look like sh*t
Now go to your safe place and cry yourself to sleep

  2. while the setting is generic and overused
the gameplay looks exquisite, and considering it’s either this
    or N*ggerfield V women’s studies edition

    i’ed rather take this.
at least it’s on Steam and and it would be easy to organize matches with friends
Looking forward for the open beta

    1. lmao

I can’t be arsed with ADS any more, that’s the one thing that keeps me from getting hyped about games like this. If they made something faster and arcadey with no (or purely cosmetic) ADS, like Quake Wars or Crysis Wars back in the day I’d probably hop on.
