Alien Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition feature

First gameplay trailer for Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition

Survios has released the first official gameplay trailer for the non-VR version of Alien: Rogue, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition. This new Alien game is coming to PC on September 30th, so make sure to watch its trailer if you are a fan of the franchise.

The non-VR version will feature even deadlier Xenomorphs and enhanced visuals. It will come with improved visuals, 60FPS, 3D audio, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers.

The game is set in the world of the Alien movies. You play as Zula Hendricks, a rogue Colonial Marine sent to the planet Purdan (LV-354) to find an old teammate. But after a surprise attack, Zula and her robot partner, Davis 01, end up in a creepy, empty research base called Castor’s Cradle. This base is run by a company called Gemini Exoplanet Solutions.

Players will use famous weapons and tools like the Pulse Rifle and Motion Tracker to explore the dark, alien-filled base. As they search for answers, they’ll find danger hiding around every corner. Along the way, players will collect supplies, gather clues, and learn what happened to the people who once lived at the Cradle.

As I’ve said, I’m really glad that Survios will release a non-VR version of it. And now, let’s hope that more devs will follow its example. Right now, the VR games I’d love to play are Batman: Arkham Shadow and Half-Life: Alyx. For HL: Alyx, we already have an amazing No-VR mod. It’s not perfect, but it does let you enjoy the full game.

On the other hand, there isn’t any No-VR mod for Batman: Arkham Shadow as of yet. That’s a bummer, as this seems to be a great Batman game. However, since this is a Meta Quest 3 game, I don’t expect its devs to ever release it on non-VR devices.

Finally, the devs have not yet revealed the game’s official PC requirements. As soon as they do, we’ll be sure to share them.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. "the next evolution of combat"

    non vr

    LMAO

Also i hate how modern combat is "you can parry facehuggers"

boooo, then they are not scary.

    1. You can't design a gay combat without parrying and we all know the combat has to be gay in modern games thanks to dark souls

  2. Don't get fooled. This is just a re-release game in Non-VR mode.
The VR game has been abandoned by the devs, and left broken.

    1. Anyone who uses VR deserves far worse
The fact that you kind of admit to being a VR user, in terms of shock value, is on par with family men coming out of the closet in the 70s and 80s

      1. VR is enjoyable. Half Life Alyx was an excellent gaming experience, and the Bethesda VR games were reasonably immersive despite the fact that they could have done better. Most other VR games are little better than tech demos, and there aren't enough AAA quality titles for VR, but that doesn't mean that VR is bad it just means it isn't profitable enough.

          1. VR will live on as long as people who enjoy it continue to buy games, and as long as Valve and Meta keep trying to keep it alive.

Just because you've decided that wearing something on your face is bad doesn't mean that others share your opinion, or that the tech should cease to exist.

          2. It’s already dead, it’s in a worse situation than PC gaming was back in 2010.
You and those other 12 people interested in VR will have to find something else to do, nobody is going to wear a strap0n on their face.

          3. lmao
11 palyers as 24 hour peak so less than 12 that I thought was an exaggeration.
What a healthy and profitable business, VR is definitely future.

          4. The 24 hour peak isn't indicative of sales. It has more than 800 reviews, and probably sold several thousand copies on Steam, and could have sold up to ten times that on the Meta Quest store (I don't know how to get stats for it). Again, that's for a game DEI Detected warned about, and probably would have had fewer sales because of that.

You are very wrong about the number of people playing VR. If you actually want to see how VR is doing, then check the stats for VRChat:

          5. This is like the league of legends or csgo of VR, it’s all there is to VR for VR users.
PC gaming was doing much better than this back when it was declared dead.
It’s not even a niche market, no one is making money from it, it has no future.

          6. Then why are companies still making games? You have no idea what you're talking about. These aren't AAA games with budgets in the hundreds of millions of dollars, most of them are indie games, and some of the dev studios have published multiple VR exclusive games over the years.

Also, as I already said, the Meta Quest store numbers will be considerably higher than the Steam store numbers.

Half Life Alyx has over 86,000 reviews:

            Bonelab has over 15,000 reviews:

          7. I’ve been trying to not insult you but goddamn you’re unbelievably dumb.
42k peak for the highest profile VR game is way way way too poor, all these numbers are terrible, this is why major publishers avoid VR like a plague
How fcking dense and deluded are you? Stop replying back to me, you’re obviously either below 20 or just dumb as rock.

          8. You're thinking in terms of flatscreen games made by AAA studios that spend hundreds of millions of dollars to make a game. Half Life Alyx probably had a large budget, and Valve probably expected that it wouldn't make enough money to cover development and that they would recoup at least some of their losses with hardware sales, however most VR games aren't made by AAA studios. As I already said, most of them are indie titles made by indie studios, and some of them have even made multiple VR games. The sales are enough to sustain at least some small indie teams, and there is a dedicated following of VR players that buy new games even if they never play them.

You're also, again, ignoring the Meta Quest store, which may have anywhere from 5 to 10 times the sales of the Steam store (I don't think they publish numbers but there are significantly more Meta Quest owners than all other VR device owners combined). VR games make most of their profit on Meta Quest, and not on Steam, sort of like how games in the old days made most of their money on console and not on PC. VR is in the same state the gaming industry was in when gaming companies made games for console, and then maybe ported them to PC for some extra bucks, and it's going to stay that way until VR devices for PC come down in price considerably.

  3. Looks like another colonial marines jfc. How about another AVP game instead. Hard to beat AVP2 though. I don't mind VR. As long as it's not just VR only. Make VR optional and that would be fine. This VR only push needs to stop.

    1. Id settle for an AVP 2 remaster. Another AVP game in this day and age would likely be even worse than the 2010 one.

  5. I believe that, the Zoe Quinn, wrote this game(or worked on it, truly amazing how poisoned gaming is, even leftys she her as a scam artist, yet she gets work on a AAA property). Thus I boycotted it( I buy many VR titles on release, Just cause, I want VR success). Dont support the folks that hate you and gamers as a whole.
