Final Fantasy XV – 10 Minutes Of Direct Feed Gameplay Walkthrough

Square Enix has released a direct feed video from Final Fantasy XV’s October walkthrough. This video packs 10 minutes of gameplay footage and shows how gorgeous this latest Final Fantasy game looks. You can easily spot some flaws (aggressive LOD shadowing system, flickering reflections, flickering distant low-quality shadows, object pop-ins) but still, FF XV looks great. While the company has not revealed anything yet about a possible PC version, we are almost certain that it will hit our platform (sooner or later). Enjoy!

  1. Well it ain’t actually 1080P. Horizontal lighting steps have it around 792P-800P. Some pretty aggressive upscaling going on.

      1. Its funny because it looks like vertically it’s fine. But it has terrible FXAA which is even muddier and has the PS4 problem of bad pop-in/Texture filtering in open world games so it looks like a PS4 build. 1920x792P with a Horizontal upscale? Weird solution but then they dropped Luminous for Unreal Engine 4 on Kingdom Hearts 3 so I’d imagine the engine might be like FOX Engine. Crapola on consoles. Better on PC.

I’d almost book it that It won’t be 1080P on either console.

      1. hahaha yeah, but they could be wearing pink for all I care. My gripe is with the “modern asian culture”. I just can’t like it (another example would be the Persona series, I couldn’t in any possible way like those games). I very much prefer the Ancient/Medieval asian culture (Feudal Japan, Chinese Unification, etc)

    1. Hasn’t been announced for PC yet but will all the recent Final Fantasy games coming to Steam its safe to assume that it will come to PC eventually.
