      1. Implying anyone even knows enough about the skill system yet. I dont want to put 2 points into charisma realizing it’s useless and that I would have needed 2 in perception. I’d like some little guidance what kind of perks each tree has etc.

        1. there are videos but the point is that artibutes are know perks and you can upgrade every perk and artibute with the perk point you get when you level up.

          1. You can only unlock those perks if you have enough s.p.e.c.i.a.l points in the tree. You need to decide your special in the beginning, dont know if you can see the perks.

          2. How exactly? In FO3 you could get a perk to increase one special. Or read a book? The first one at least.

          3. in fallout 4 the special ponits can be increased with perk points, you no longer have skills or perks every 2-3 levels you get perk points to increase perks and special are their skill tree origins also unlocked with perk points.

          4. dude the weapons and armor dont break down thare are no skills to define damage output, there still be some buffs from perks but the argument i am trying to make is that it will play more like a shooter it has meele button as well.

          5. Hmm yeah.. we’ll see. I think exploration and loot are more important rpg elements but dumbing things down isn’t good.

          6. Wandering and interacting with the world is part of roleplaying, and can you roleplay without any items? No. Fallout 3 was great and so was skyrim.

          7. you need to play new vegas. Roleplaying is roleplaying if you cant play roles but have a bunch of dialogue options that are black and white while also lead to the same result and do not affect the world much then there is no point, i dont know about skyrim but fallout 3 was not “great” it was average with some godawful quests and dialogues and subpar combat.

          8. I see you are more serious about that side of roleplaying. Actually I didn’t like new vegas as much. It didn’t have the same feel and I didn’t get as immersed in the game(the setting, those legion guys etc??). They are rather old games already and bethesdas games have not been about amazing quest and combat but exploration and the world mainly. But everyone remembers the black brotherhood quests from oblivion or maybe the big eyed people with a cult in the forest. How about the happy families that turned out to be cannibals in FO3? For example Wither 3 did almost everything so well(much better than others) but didn’t capture the bethesda’s lone wanderer and exploration feel. I’d say it’s mainly because witcher is not in first person and you play as a predetermined character. That’s why the FO4 reveal was little unsettling… I’ll stick with first person mode even in dialogue.

          9. ” It didn’t have the same feel ”

Not it felt like fallout 2.

“but exploration and the world mainly.”

well…..i wouldnt say that for 3.

“the big eyed people with a cult in the forest.”

You dont talk about harold who bethesda fcked up?

“How about the happy families that turned out to be cannibals in FO3”

            the antagonizer was far better.

“I’ll stick with first person mode even in dialogue.”

Can you? from what i have seen it is now like mass effect.

          10. ”Can you? from what i have seen it is now like mass effect.”
I think they said just after the initial release that you can toggle the viewmode. That’s because many people dont want that mass effect dialogue even though it’s a fun style too. The 4-option system is enough of a chance.

  1. first of all new vegas is the best for mods, second of all a cheap pc can do the job better than consoles for 450$, but i agree wit hyou you better wait the tech that will come out in a few years on pc will be mindblowing.

Finally mods arent “coming” on consoles especially on ps4 anytime soon.

Mods will not “come” to consoles the modders will have to put them on consoles and i assure you the way the game is hardscripted and the perfomance is tight on consoles, with no room for changes, very few and simplistic mods will make it to consoles and that is IF bethesda provides a toolkit that worths a crap.

Also if you put the numbers now you will see that consoles do infact have a higher cost than pcs due to royality fees, higher prices and mp fees.
