  1. I’m calling it now, there will be no keyboard and mouse prompts in this one either, after all it’s FROMSOFTWARE we are talking about.

    1. of course it will be a terrible port with even worse KB+mouse controls, thats the Dark Souls way. Oh yeah and they’ll promise better KB+mouse support just like they did with DS2/

  2. mmmm, while I feel like this is too soon. Still my most anticipated game of next year, interesting stuff with the movement.

    1. Yeah, the movement looks just like in DkS1 and that’s a good thing. Hopefully it will be everything *eww* DkS2 had failed to be.

      In Miyazaki we trust.

      1. Hehe honestly enjoyed ds 2. Weakest of the series? Sure, but to be fair there was a lot of developmental problems with lead devs changing half way through. Very excited though.

        1. Yep, I know. But still, I haven’t even managed to force myself through DLCs lol (is it any good btw?). I’ve played a good 100 hours of the base game and got so burned out on it that I never came back.

          1. The DLCs are the best part of the game IMO, the areas and enemies are much better designed than in the base game.

          2. The first dlc was very good, interesting level design, and interesting bosses. Second one was good with a bit more generic enemies and level design wasn’t as good, though people said it was the hardest one, third was okay.

          3. The 1st and 3rd DLCs are good, the 2nd one is decent, but hard, not challenging hard, the lets fck you over hard.
Its like they are literally trying to piss you off.
The 2nd dlc has one of the hardest bosses of DS.

    1. What do you mean? You need a controller and dsfix for ds 1 sure, but after that everything is perfectly fine. With ds 2 you don’t even need a controller, although it’s still much more preferable.

      1. Just the opposite. I completed DS with my keyboard+mouse with no problems and played DS2 for 30 hours and stopped because is unplayable (Laggy mouse, unresponsible mouse while pressing some keys…)

        1. You are one of a kind than! Very few played ds 1 with mouse and keyboard without a few mods, and several did with ds 2.

          1. I only used the DSfix, and it does not affect the controls

How people can play DS2 with a unresponsive mouse (lag)?
How people can play DS2 without pressing L-Shift, L-control and L-alt? Because the mouse do not work while you are pressing those keys

          2. idk, I always play them with controllers. But it seems to the majority of people that ds 2 on keyboard and mouse is a lot easier.

      2. it’s always a console port with crappy graphics, no real decent graphics improvements for the PC, capped even, with controller popups and tiups for controller even if you are trying to play with a mouse and keyboard. its a crappy port no matter what, some just love the game/style, and ignore that fact, doesn’t make it less true.

        1. Well if a game has crappy graphics, it has crappy graphics. Tons of indie games have bad graphics, does that make them bad pc ports? As long as it isn’t worse than the console version, I don’t see a problem. Controller popups is a problem, which I hope is fixed in the third game. But in terms of how well it runs, ds 2 is a pretty solid port. Runs at 60 fps at 1080p on pretty mediocre laptops even.

          1. Yes you can run a game that looks that bad and outdated on a crappy laptop at 60 fps, my point exacly.
Also you just said indie games aren’t bad PC ports because of their graphics, yes but those indies are mostly PC exclusive in the first place, and the “indie” name says it all not doesn’t it? they don’t have much money to go on to graphics.

From software made TONS of money off of the PC version of both souls alone and still doesn’t give a sh*t about PC to even bother, but the fact they made so much money off of the PC versions alone, in of itself should warrant a PC treatment. Instead, not only doesn’t it look any better on PC (appart from the tipical FPS and res), it’s still not even WORKED on enough for them to at LEAST try to get keyboard+mouse working in any decent manner, and they don’t even bother with tooltips for it, even if you are using them.

It is ridiculous and a crappy Port. Some people love the game and the style, but it doesn’t change the fact that on the PC it’s a really crappy port.

        2. …So what? It’s a game with 360 degrees movement, ofcourse an analog stick beats 4 buttons. As for the graphics, yeah they’re not great but they’re not awful either, still brings across an absorbing world better than some bland game with “awesum graphxx”.

          1. wait so you’re saying FPS doesn’t have 360 degrees? last I checked, most people do agree that mouse+keyboard is alot better for FPS. In any case if you can’t understand what a bad port is, lets leave it at that.

          2. Yeah, because walking in 360 degrees and aiming in 360 degrees is totally the same. Are you being a smartass or just really stupid? Ds1 was a sh*t port, Ds2 was well enough, at the end of the day they’re good games which are playable aswell

    2. Did they change anything? Seriously, Bloodbourne looks better than this crap. And a 2016 game with that graphics? People are gonna rape it in reviews. (not the fanatics obviously, you know who I’m talking about, the same people that lvl up all day and farm)

      1. Dont tell me what to do First of all I dont buy dlc cause I dont support that so get the f u c k out son

        1. people like you make me sick. Keep playing your pathetic little game kido. Waste your parents cash cause you probably je rk off all day 🙂

  3. YES! yes yes yes! it looked detailed so I think the meticulousness of DS 1 and Bloodborne is back with this sequel.

Is it just me or did the character’s movements got faster/became more agile ? dat dual wield sword dance XD

  4. Well the obvious thing is FromSoftware knows where to put their priority in, instead of having the best graphics and shiniest assets, they instead decide to put their engine to the level design and world. Hence why the souls games have some of the most detailed worlds and most intricate level designs out there. I mean would you rather devs follow the logic of the order 1886?
I’m sure souls games sell well, but not that well? Heck the series has only sold 8 million, pretty niched title. I think it looks better on pc, not noticeably, but anyone with eyes will agree. Keyboard+mouse yeah sucks as I said before, hopefully they fix it with ds 3. DS2 a lot of people considered a decent port, if not for the button prompts and mouse and keyboard problems, it would be a great port with plenty of graphics options and runs quit well, definitely didn’t deserved to be on dso gaming for worst port, considering the number of bad ports out last year. But than again, don’t buy the games if your not happy with the ports!

      1. Uhh what do you mean your try them first? You look at reviews first or try it out on friend’s pc?
