IGN has shared a new trailer for Crimson Desert, showcasing 7 minutes of new gameplay footage from it. This video shows off another boss battle, this time against Hexe Marie. So, go ahead and take a look at it.
Crimson Desert will be using Pearl Abyss’ own engine, the BlackSpace Engine. And overall, the game looks great. From what I can see, there is also no downgrade. However, by today’s standards, Crimson Desert is not as hot as it was back in 2020. That was four years ago. To its credit, Pearl Abyss was able to match the quality of its early demos. Still, the game’s lighting feels a bit dated nowadays.
On the other hand, I really like its combat mechanics. Crimson Desert started as an open-world MMORPG. During development, though, Pearl Abyss pivoted and made it a single-player game. And, to be honest, I’m glad it’s no longer an MMORPG.
Sadly, there is still no ETA on when the game will come out. We also don’t have any PC system requirements to share. Hell, the game is not even present on Steam or Epic Games Store.
We might get some news during TGA 2024. Or at least that’s my assumption. After all, the game should come out in 2025. Again, I don’t have any info but that’s the vibes I get from it.

Too much chaos obscuring action. Not to mention constant blabbering, taunting from opponent destroys immersion. I don't have high hopes for this but if the developers are trying to sell the game with just good looking characters and heaps of substandard game mechanics, I think it would not be sufficient enough to please the core audience

1 of 3 games im actually excited for. The ragdoll on the body parts reminds me of x360 goodness(crzy fun) and from my roots in boomer shooters and twin-sticks I ravel in chaos on screen. Lets hope they pull it off, they've had the time.
