CEMU – the most promising Wii U emulator – has received a new update. Thanks to it, Mario Kart 8 is now fully playable with working sound. Not only that, but this new version (1.2.0) comes with a 9-12fps performance boost. This is huge news, and you can view below a video showing Mario Kart 8 running in the latest version of CEMU. Enjoy!

Good thing the physics are running in constant time or it wouldn’t be playable at half-framerate.
For now, but when the emulator improves you will realize it won’t allow higher framerates.
Is it capped at 60? That’s a shame.
That’s fully playable? 😛
What’s your definition of fully playable?
“playable” for an emulator mostly means it actually launches and works, not necessarily works perfectly.
Impressive progress
so many memories..
