  1. You know, i would prefer if it was the usual semi reallistic sci fi shooter. Now it looks like BF1 and WAW…its is no diffirent than any other ww2 shooter.

      1. No i am using the same argument they were using “cod never changes, its always the same” they changed it they made sci fi they added wall running and jetpacks and spaceships….”booooo horrible go back to ww2″ It goes back to ww2 and thus becomes as generic as possible “yay we now like it, its what we used to play back in the day”

Kinda like the people complaining quake champions isnt like the old quake…pfffft!!

    1. People said COD never changes ;d When they changed it to be more like BF(or the Space 1).. people said its the same like everything else 😀

I swear CoD could do anything and people will still complain ;d I dont even buy Call of duty, but i really dont get what people want.

      1. No its the other way around, they changed it, boo we dont like it go back to ww2, they went back to ww2, made it generic and samey as every other ww2 game, yay now we like it.

People complained because it changed, not its back to its roots they like it.

        1. 😀 This is starting to get confusing. It really sounds like people dont know what they want xD

I do wonder, can WW2 ever be unique and special or is it forever doomed to be spit on. Many people got bored of that setting, cuz of the ton of games and movies about it. It feels like.. whatever CoD does, it will feel generic at this point.

They have done pretty much everything now, even the gfx look a ton better than what we used to get with MW2 and 3. Its hard to imagine its still the same old engine (is it?)

  2. are they purposefuly not using swastikas? cause if that’s the case it kind of ruins the immersion for me, and it’s a damn shame.

    1. Of course it’s done on purpose. I bet it’s because of the Germany’s oversensitive law which forbids using swastikas, even for mere depiction of historical events.. Now, if CoD devs can only release one version of the trailer (or the game itself for that matter), they don’t want to write off a whole country by using a symbol which is forbidden in it. Obviously, that would mean less sales and money for Activision.

    1. Dude… There were black German foot soliders in world War II! Lol… Unbelievable how much of a trigger finger people have in this community haha. There’s proof online. Photos of them posing with white German soliders, who all looked like they were having a good time. But yeah DLCs and microtransactions can usually be a crappy thing when it isn’t done right. Which is usually almost always.

  3. Lol no 😀 Compared to BF1 it does look worse, but sayin its ugly? NAh 😀 You dont know what ugly is then

Also most of the games from 5 years ago still look gorgeous today. Dont get me started! I can name a ton of them, heck thats what i keep playing most of the time, minus a few modern games.

  4. Yeah, this whole revisionism makes me sick. If only devs allow for mods, it will be easy to fix in the singleplayer mode, though.
    By the way:
The practice of censoring swastikas is nothing new, even in video games. Did you notice it just now? Honest question. Because I’m pretty much used to this kind of censorship and I’m actually surprised when I do see an uncensored swastika.
