  1. Unreal Engine is one of those that you can see a trailer with game-play 2 years back…and as of today you have the very same thing running and even looking better. I thought those particle effects from explosions were PhysX effects but way better to see that they are not.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Batman Akrham Knight are my personal GOTY’s…One because of the open world and fantasy made in an almost perfect way, and the other because of the character and the combat which is one of the best if not the best in the market.

Great year we have to admit without counting a couple more games if Mad Max comes this year and Just Cause 3.

    1. I’m being cautious about Batman: AK, haven’t pre-ordered it as I just get the sneaky feeling something is going to go horribly wrong with the PC version. Hope I’m wrong though.

      1. Some of the stuff in AK just seem a bit too over the top if you ask me. Very far from the Arkham Asylum. I’m really hoping Mad Max is gonna deliver!

    1. Literally 5 seconds into the video is shows the PS4 logo and says the footage is captured from a PS4 system. Seriously dude…

      1. You’re right, I’m just used to skip ahead the first 10-15 secs of every video and missed it.

          1. “Too pretty for PS4”
            “low 20s framerate, screen tearing”

No, seems about right all things considered.

  2. I see stuttering and i’m 100% sure it will be worse on PC, especially with PhysX..

    1. lolwut

PC hardware can easily handle this, even if it’s a heavily-modified version of Unreal Engine 3. Mid-range hardware can easily hit 60 FPS or more with it maxed out.

        1. The correct word is “can”. I was implying that some PCs can handle it. I didn’t mean that some PCs should handle it. And yes, I remember Arkham City. What about it?

        1. I played it shortly after it was released and I remember the DX11 issues. It ran fine in DX9 mode though.

  3. I wish Rocksteady could keep this graphical fidelity. Witcher 3 was a traumatic experience XD . They did a great job with GTA V PC though so that’s assuring 🙂

    1. at this point do you even wonder if it will happen? To be fair they do showing off the ps4 version.

      1. Sorry, I can’t understand you XD
Do you mean it will not be toned down because they are showing the PS4 footage ?
Hmm … then yeah, that’s kind of assuring. If PS4 is like that then it could be better on PC if handled correctly. But you’ll never know 🙁

  4. The writing is just terrible. Batman: “You’re coming with me.” Ivy: “You only had to ask.” *they walk ten feet* Batman “We have to go”. What the hell is this? Is this how some shut-in writer imagines people have conversations. Did they mess up in turning their storyboard into gameplay? This can’t be how someone intended it.
