Ubisoft has released the Gamescom 2023 trailer for its new AC game, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This trailer gives us a look at the Round City at its height, complete with a full Arabic voiceover.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an homage to the series, and a particularly special tribute to the first Assassin’s Creed. Inviting players to immerse themselves in a magnificent ninth-century Baghdad at the peak of its Golden Age, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage will offer a narrative-driven action-adventure experience with a modern take on the parkour, stealth, and assassinations gameplay elements that have defined the franchise for over fifteen years.
From what we know, this new AC game will skip Steam at launch and will be available on Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. And, for those wondering, Ubisoft has not shared yet its official PC system requirements.
Lastly, as we’ve already reported, the game will be using both Denuvo and VMProtect.

in ac 1 they removed the crossbow because it was not historically accurate, in ac2 ezio was basically a fckboi but women liked how much of a chad he was, same thing happens with yakuza women like it when the main character is a masculine dude. In revelation they told altair to talk without the middle eastern accent, most people didnt like it because that accent made him sound cool. In unity everyone spoke with a british accent despite the fact they are french and its made by a french studio. With the last few ac games they have gone woke, we wuz kangs and sht in ac origins making the main character black or having a black actor, it like a mixture of nubian and middle eastern mixed race africans.
With odyssey they canonized the female character, when back then women were treated the same way they are in saudi arabia today.They even changed some vases because they depicted only men and change the digital tour so you got female students in philosophy classes, the commentary says that the team decided that representation was more important than historical accuracy. Facepalm, in the dlc you have a baby, but how you do that if you are gay? Lgbttards in twitter whined about it, so ubisoft apologized and changed the dlc. My god that pissed me off ,years after years of seeing articles like “why its stupid to hate call of duty” and having predatory microstransactions one after the other, no one listened to gamers but they bend over backwards and spent time and money to change the story of the dlc for some gays on twitter. Well now they make a middle eastern game and everyone is brown and speaks aloha snackbar. Where are all the random white guys with blonde hair and kawai asians? What? The game doesnt get to be diverse when it takes place in a non white country, interesting that one isnt it? From what i heard the mentor of the character is a woman, thats haram. So how many gay characters are in it? Also you heard the rumors the next game is set in japan but you play as a black samurai, because they found one.

What you’re seeing in hollywood and western media is the evolution of this woke checklist. You and most anti woke crowd wouldn’t see an issue if the main guy was straight white male, and every other token character was american, just like a lot of anti woke crowd refuse to see subliminal woke messages even in games like jedi survivour. That’s the kind of woke most anti woke crowd will tolerate. What you have to understand, with this game, the woke media doesn’t want to awake middle eastern fanbase to the woke media’s subliminal conditioning, which in this case a straight arab dude, strong independent arab girl boss and a token black arab. Cause this is the exact trope in almost every hollywood movies and video games were before 2014, more or less, replace arabs with americans. They didn’t want you to notice the patterns either, rather stay conditioned to certain imagery in the form this woke checklist, Straight white male in the front, black dude on one side, strong woman on the other. If the creators of the woke and this semi woke checklist had their way, you wouldn’t ever see a shred of normalcy in any media. i once again gonna recommend ashes 2063, because its not hipsters with laser guns and they gay boyfriends, its harsh post apocalyptic setting inspired by 80s movies, i just found out it was written by someone from the no mutants allowed forums, which makes sense.
i think its made by 2 people and a third wrote it, but its a free doom engine game dude. For what is worth terminator resistance also takes it self seriously and its accurate to the lore material.

I enjoyed Origins, but this looks like more of the same. Odyssey was more of the same, I enjoyed parts of it, but it was about 2-3 times too much stuff. Valhalla was more of the same with worse combat, got bored with less than 2 hours gameplay. I am 100% burnt out with this series.
i like how they said valhala will be smaller than odyssey and it was bigger, so i dont believe them on this one, the fact its another prequel…wasnt origins a prequel?…and its back at the middle east, proves that they are out of ideas.
I think they may have been trying to cash in on nostalgia, but most fans of the original games/Prince of Persia don’t like the modern AC mechanics and have moved on. I did like most of the mechanics (but not the bloat) in Origins and Odyssey, but after those two massive games I am not sure I can face any more. Fans of either the originals or the “new” Origins onwards games have moved on or got bored. The setting for Mirage isn’t fresh enough for people who played either the earlier games or the newer ones. Unless they bring in new players with Mirage they may have a financial flop on their hands.

How can a sequel look worse than the previous game?
It definitely does not look better than Unity. which actually was Xbox one lead in development. and Debut first on the platform. I am guessing Microsoft game studios team made quite a marketing impression to the series. after the departure all of their games afterwords became less blockbuster. the series will likely need another co-development deal in order to impress again.
Visually the game literally looks at least a decade old!
The only nice thing about this trailer was the fact that they made the characters speak their native language instead of Canadians speaking butchered English with even more butchered accents.
She gets credited too much. But it was patrice desiletes who essentially conceived the entire concept that is the basis of all AC games. He was the creative director of the whole project.
I thought it looked promising, until I read the comments which opened my eyes.
