Bohemia Interactive has released a new trailer for Arma 3’s new terrain. ArmA 3’s expansion will introduce Tanoa – a South Pacific archipelago with a land mass of over 100 km2, and home to lush tropical vegetation, unique landmarks, a rich history, and imposing man-made feats of modern engineering. Bohemia also announced that this expansion will bring support for DX12. It looks beautiful, so be sure to watch the trailer!

so performance will not be a problem anymore DX12 confirmed on Arma !
thats just great and great times for DX12 PCGAMERS
Performance is also a problem because of the AI and scripts (including the simulation), not just the render.
well my i7 waits DX12 from day one in 2012.
Performance issues are not solely due to the render, but the AI, sim, etc.
Yes indeed but they said last night that the render of their engine will be so much better using DX12 and it will have a massive performance boost and thats a good thing for Arma!
Now there are DX12 gamers? Who are the others? LOL.
well AMD older cards don’t support DX12
DX12 will be good for the Real Virtuality engine.
phenomenal and fully unoptimized:p
Its funny this Dx12 hype was the same for DX11 and DX10 and still the new games comes with worst performance than those old games with DX9 and OpenGL. So far the only info about the “great” performance has come from Microsoft, while OpenGL and Mantle performance has been tested by many players and benchmark enthusiast.Ill wait until DX12 would be tested on benchmarks to see how good or bad is, still Im not fan of closed source APIs.
Finally, I can play this scene out of Clear and Present Danger: https://youtu.be/6Oup73J_x-8?t=45m19s
haha EPIC
if the game runs better i might buy it
