Aliens Dark Descent gets an official story trailer

Focus Entertainment has just released the official story trailer for the new Aliens game, Aliens Dark Descent. In Aliens: Dark Descent, players take on real-time combat against iconic Xenomorphs and brand new threats.

Using a range of tactical abilities, players will recruit, level up and command a squad of Colonial Marines as one unit with intuitive controls on keyboard & mouse as well as on controller. Players will need to use their wits to navigate expansive, persistent and reactive levels where death is permanent.

The story begins when the Otago spacecraft crash lands on Planet Lethe after a Xenomorph escaped containment and caused the activation of the Cerberus Protocol — a planetary lockdown preventing all ships from leaving or landing on the planet.

Aliens: Dark Descent’s original campaign will pit players against iconic Xenomorph creatures. Players can expect to fight Facehuggers, Alien warriors, Alien Queens, human commandos and even Praetorians.

The game will also have a cast of memorable characters. Notably, Maeko Hayes as Deputy Administrator at Lethe’s Pioneer Station, Jonas Harper as Sergeant for the US Colonial Marines and Barbara Pryce as Colony Director for the Weyland-Yutani.

Focus Entertainment will release Aliens Dark Descent on June 20th. You can also find here the game’s official PC system requirements.

Enjoy!

  1. Looks decent.

I’ve been waiting for another worthwhile Alien game since the brilliant Alien: Isolation.

  2. I wish someone remade a proper Aliens Colonial Marines remake instead for the trash from 2013. Activision perhaps ?

While this looks cool its nothing more than Xcom with an ugly black woman. Just like Alan Wake 2, when even Black people hates to see black people we have a problem! They even say a white strong male lead would be much matter choice.
