At the Summer Game Fest 2023, Remedy presented a raw unedited gameplay video for Alan Wake 2. Alan Wake 2 will be using the Northlight Engine, and seems to have amazing graphics.
In Alan Wake 2, players will continue the writer’s story and experience Remedy’s first foray into survival horror. According to the developers, players will assume the role of both Alan Wake and a new female FBI agent. And, from the looks of it, their stories will be interconnected.
Sam Lake claimed that the story will be split in half between Alan Wake and Saga Anderson. And, as long as the game offers a captivating story, I don’t mind that.
Alan Wake II will release on PC via the Epic Games Store on October 17th.

where to begin and where to finish with this game, “alan wake” starring a black woman, max payne is in the game, but they already used his voice for control, which was a mixed bag and a mess, for the director, but they killed him to replace him with a redhead that looked like a man and now the redhead is replaced by a black woman, control and alan wake are connected so its stupid to use the same voice actor unless that guy is the director from the bureau of control. I would like a linear scripted game with some cool scripted moments instead of a open world repetitive game but alan wake scripted stuff sucked, it was boring most of the game was repetitive combat where you shine a light on enemies and double tap. Also alan wake looks like john wick now because i guess this is how the actor looks like in real life. I hate this trend and the most impressive thing about this is how good sam lake looks at his age, but lets pretend that the dude can write, alan wake was boring quantum break was meh and control story sucked.

Speaking of storytelling, you can’t show me a single example of female character being sidetracked with a male character, for the sake of “storytelling”. Terminator went full woke, but the alien movies never seen a single male protagonist because everybody thinks it’s a good tradition to put a female in the cover. Only times there was a male protagonist was in the colonial marines game. Then you have tomb raider. Uncharted already has a female protagonist in their expansion also hints that future protagonist will be female. Nobody even will think of changine tomb raider’s protagonist into a male because we all know what would happen. There are more examples of this double standard and misandry I can point out. Gears of war, mad max, ghostbusters, saints row, wolfenstein, shadow of war galadriel dlc, star wars, mario movie just to name few. On top of it all, they emasculate all the male characters to emphasize how the stronk amazing the female characters are. Nobody would even dare making a female character weaker than a male character because that hurts MoDeRn SeNsiBiliTieS
Maybe i could find an example back in the 80’s with the movie Red Sonja, where Arnie steals the show, but pretty much.
Think of alien franchise. Every single movies, including prometheus has female protagonist. Where’s the equality here? You might think for sake of the diversity they would have a male protagonist by now, since that’s their deception of inserting female protagonist into male centric franchises, heck even alien isolation has ripley’s daughter because of ripely being an iconic character. Same goes for resident evil or underworld movies. I can guarantee you none of this movies and many others featuring a female protagonist from their beginning will ever cast straight male protagonist to not bring the wrath of the sjw. But it’s not just okay to them to replace the strong male protagonist, they don’t hesitate to brush of the legacy of the male protagonists of old movies like they did in mad max 2015 or the recent terminator movie.
I think the android in Prometheus and the sequel steal the show, but i agree with you there.

They serve US markets, so it all boils down to what is “trendy” with american cultural elite. Just a few years back it was standard white female in their girlboss game Control, but cultural trends in US moves at rapid speed.

You guys should really check out the video titled “Introducing Saga Anderson” on Remedy’s YT channel as it pretty much confirms that this game is pozzed. The actress for the FBI agent, Melanie Liburd (more like Melanin Libturd), flat out states that it’s exciting that there’s a woman of colour being a protagonist in a game because apparently she’s been living under a rock for the past half decade and thinks that it doesn’t happen that often. And practically all the other people talking in the video besides Sam Lake and Ilkka Villi look like they’re part of their local antifa chapter.
Wokeness aside … is it the best looking upcoming game?
