8 minutes of gameplay footage from the Fallout 3 Remake Mod in Fallout 4

YouTube’s ‘JuiceHead’ has shared a video, showing 8 minutes of gameplay footage from the latest beta build of the Fallout 3 Remake Mod in Fallout 4, Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland. This video showcases the Point Lookout DLC, so be sure to watch it if you are fans of Fallout 3.

Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland is a total conversion mod that aims to remake Fallout 3 in the Fallout 4 engine. This mod promises to feature all the quests, dialogues and locations from Fallout 3. Additionally, the team will be experimenting with the newest weather options in Fallout 4’s Creation Engine to establish the same grimy and oppressive tone as the original game.

Now the last time we got any sort of news about Fallout 4: Capital Wasteland was back in June 2020. So yeah, its dev team is apparently working really hard on it.

There is currently no ETA on when this Fallout 3 fan remake will come out. Naturally, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Enjoy the following gameplay video!

ITS FINALLY TIME - Actually Playing the Fallout 3 Remake

      1. Both are great games. Kind of sad that Fo4 were so dumbed down in the rpg elements. Handled more like a brain dead shooter with a fallout theme and settlements slapped onto it Imo

  1. So glad to see some progress on this. Would love to play the full remake start to finish when its done someday. F3 is one of my favorite games, and I didn’t play much of the DLC.

  2. Pretty cool, might check it out. However content and story aside the differences in Fallout 4 I’m not sure I like it more. Sure the gunplay feels better but there are a bunch of little things I’m not personally fond of like all the extra animations that really don’t need them like moving to a terminal (which I’ve gotten stuck at so many times), injecting a stimpack, fiddling with the pip boy, and the animated vault boys (not sure why I hate that one so much but I do).
