It appears that two gameplay videos from the canceled version of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 have been leaked online. These two videos show off two missions, and can give you an idea of what Hardsuit Labs had created before resetting and restarting the project.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been in development hell for a while. Its first delay came in October 2019. Then, in August 2020, Paradox announced a new delay and release date. And in February 2021, the game was indefinitely delayed.
A couple of days ago, Paradox Interactive shared a new set of screenshots from the pre-alpha and latest version of the game. Moreover, the publisher stated that it will share more details about Bloodlines 2 in September.
As said, the following gameplay footage is from the canceled version of Bloodlines 2. In other words, it’s not representative of the gameplay mechanics or art style of the game. Nevertheless, I’m certain that a lot of Vampire: The Masquerade fans will find it interesting.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Given that it’s Paradox, I wouldn’t be surprised if not being able to monetise the game long term would’ve been an issue with this original incarnation of the game. I.e. it was a story-driven console game, aimed at mainstream console gaming audiences. You can’t exactly release endless expansions like they can with their sandbox simulation games.
Anyway all signs pointed to this original incarnation of the game being woke garbage, with creative leads making statements about not being politically neutral on topics. Also the fact that they hired game urinalist Kara Ellison to do some writing, i.e. the Karen who reee’d so loudly that it got Hotline Miami 2 banned in Australia.
Still it’d probably best write off completely, given 100% of that most of the recent games based on White Wolf IP being bottom of barrel, cheap Eurojank trash. Eg VtM Swan Song, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
I’m confused as to where the claim that what is shown has been cancelled. Paradox has literally provided no information about the game or the developers. We do not know anything about mechanics, characters or plot. We do not known what has been retained and what has been removed.
