  1. Growing up with Tekken 2 and later 3 on the PS 1 left me with some warm nostalgic memories, however rose-tinted glasses aside, I sadly feel like I’m suddenly too old for fighting games. Seems like yesterday I was a little kid and now I’ve become an almost grandpuh.

So enjoy Tekken 7 on PC as much as you can without all that exclusivity-induced division of the players and pathetic fanboi wars.

    1. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like PC has lost NetherRealm studios games. Not really sure what happened either they were upset with feedback stating performance issues in the latest Mortal Kombat or just felt the sales numbers weren’t there, because not only did they cut off any future DLC for Mortal Kombat X but their site for Injustice 2 only shows PS4/XBox1 box art

      1. MKX had lots of issues upon launch, then it become good after they patched it, but cutting off support for the PC version by not even releasing DLC pack 2 ? I dont know if that was WB:s decision or NetherRealm studios but quite frankly Id be happy without such an arrogant publisher and or studio around. WB is also responsible for Arkham Knight. But at the end of the day Injustice 2 will most likely come to PC with Denuvo protection. BTW both games were outsourced to some incompetent (Read cheap) porters like: High Voltage and Iron Galaxy, perhaps time that the real studios makes them with proper netcode included?

        1. Yes and now with Denuvo WB knows that no one can pirate the game. While most people buy fighting games for online multiplayer there ae also those who dont care about online and play only local multiplayer(2peole on the same pc or console with wirelless controllers i am doing it some times with a friend of mine who is also pc gamer only and big fighting fan and player). Those people because they dont want to play online pirated pc version of Mortal kombat 9 10 and injustice 1 but now with Denuvo that is uncracable evryone who wants to play the game(online or offline dosent matter) has to buy it so a pc version of injustice 2 will sell more because these people who pirated injustice 1 for the reasons mentioned will now have to buy it.

          1. Street Fighter 5 on the other hand didnt sell as good as expected, lack of content or something in offline mode, lets see how well they can fix it.

          2. Interesting stuff. I own Mortal Kombat X and never really noticed the issues. But I have a high end system (sli 980’s) and don’t play fighters online, so according to you maybe I just missed these problems that were affecting other less fortunate or online players. That sucks.

Who did the Killer Instinct port for PC? I know source was developed by Double Helix, but not seeing who was responsible for the port, but that one performed very well from day 1.
Also WB as both you and Johanna said have built up some bad will with PC gamers over big issues with Arkham Knight and MKX. But I played the original Injustice on PC and thought it was very well made. You are right about many pirating it. I admit I first pirated Injustice, but after playing for a bit I decided I liked it enough so actually bought a copy during the steam sale.

          3. I dont have any issues with MKX offline but online some times it works well and some other times it lags. I have 2500k 3,3ghz 12 gb ddr 3 1600 mhz gtx 970 g1 gaming 4gb. Iam playing all games max settings 1440p DSR. I also have 24 mb connection so with such a strong pc and fast connection whatever online issues i had so far in injustice and mk10 are due to bad netcode. They released a new netcode for consoles but it has not come to pc.

        2. Yeah WB may be the ones who pulled these strings. For all thier bad choices, I did find Shadow Of Mordor to be an excellent game, no problems for performance for me, even running at 4k always played smooth and above 60fps. I think though with that game the actual devs Monolith handled both Console and PC versions and maybe that’s why Shadow Of Mordor came out so well. I hope they will continue to inhouse develop for the sequel

      2. What happend is this: Warner Bros hired High Voltage to make pc version of mortal kombat games. High Voltage made a bad pc version becsuse they dont know how to make a working pc version. That resultd in laggy online and perfomance issues(for those with low end and mid range pc mostly). Not only that by High Voltage was unable to make the DLC and patches for pc version at the same time with console version. Because of that WB forced to fired them. That result in the pc version being left without a developer. But WB said that more info about Injjustice 2 on E3 so pc version can still be announce at minute. They only need to hire a good pc developer who has proved that they can make the best pc version like QLOC or Nixxes and not someone who dont know what they are doing like High Voltage. The demand and market for fighters on pc is here but we wont accept bad ports

    1. My 970 G1 GAMING will be enough for 4k 60 fps it is a fighting game just people fighting in a arena not a action adventure game or a fps game.

  2. ADD ME ON STEAM SO WE WILL FIGHT ONLINE AND I WILL DEFEAT ALL OF YOU! SHREDDER IS MY STEAM NAME! ADD ME AND I WILL DESTROY YOU IN TEKKEN!!! MUHAHHAHA
