Cris and Albert have released some new comparison screenshots between the vanilla version of Resident Evil 4 and their amazing Texture Overhaul Project for it. It’s really amazing what this duo has accomplished, though do note that the images from the HD Project are still WIP. Still, they look incredible so kudos to them. Enjoy the new comparison screenshots after the jump!

Wait. Those textures on the left are from the “HD” Edition?! Lmaaaao
Can’t wait to try it. Though I guess my 2GB VRAM won’t be enough.
if u have Nvidia u will me ok at max out even at 1440p max out 60+ FPS
The HD edition did made it much better, but its still a game from 2004/5. This mod actually makes the game look on par with games from 2007/8 (maybe more?)
How are they even doing this? I doubt that they are creating all those textures from scratch, right? Are the high resolution textures in the game files somewhere?
They are actually getting the same files the team behind RE4 had plus i think they are automatically scaling everything by like 4X.
The textures aren’t the asme though.
Well i’m just going by what they said on Steam they communicate with their audience
Absolutely mind-blowing amount of difference between the two…too damn amazing!
These guys are really doing some impressive work, Kudos to them!
