    1. I’m hoping that since DOOM was pulled off well with 6 that the new Wolfenstein will be much better than TNO because I honestly hated how that game ran on PC and still does with the previous engine. Tech 6 looks like a godsend compared to 5.

  1. The stylisation combined with the near-photorealistic levels of detail just looks… weird. I kinda preferred the first game’s more painterly style.

  2. screams bullshots but we wills see.

I liked the first dishonored but it was not as grand as i hoped. Then again it was a small studio with multiple failures, hopefully now they got le moneys, it will be bigger.

      1. arx fatalis never sold well or became very known they cancelled the crossing and hl episode 4 never happened. dark messiah was a mess. All these did not made them bigger with a lot of renown. They lost money and had to work as a small studio.

          1. I dont know what you mean legit, but what i know is this, they made a console version that they addressed the problems of the game, i dont mean the bugs, which the game was infamous for, but the controls, the balance etc etc.

so “legit” no, dishonored was legit.

          2. The console version was terrible. The only problem with the PC version was that it had some serious bugs on launch. Those were fixed eventually. Noone should ever play the console version, it’s not an improved version, it’s a dumbed down, scaled down, sub-HD mess.

  3. It’s still sylized but updated with some flavor of physical based rendering, what I think of as material rendering because of the realism it adds to clothing and fabrics by giving them a accurate texture/lighting. Also the face models look much more detailed, maybe sub surface scattering? Either way it looks good and if its id tech 6 then it should run very well across multiple platforms. I think many thought Id was done for after Carmack left but they have had some strong showings as of late in both tech and actual games

        1. That’s not how you answer.
Nothing shown so far has been particularly impressive, nor indicative of the whole game.

  4. I need to give this game a proper go.
Tried playing it the pacifist way but got boring so I might just do what ever the hell I want this time around.

  5. Nice bullshots, this and DoWIII are actually in my buy list unless they use s**ty DRMs or they are going to be inferior to their predecessors.

        1. True, but if it were your job to touch up screenshots, wouldn’t you start dealing with the aliasing firstly?

          1. If you wanted to really trick someone into thinking it’s real, you would leave it at 1080p and dial up settings in the engine.

          2. But if it’s in-engine, then it’s not a bullshot, right? Assuming the player can dial up those settings as well.

          3. Yes, “assuming”, when devs take in engine screenshots, it’s usually to add vfx that aren’t in the game.
