Lords of the Fallen – Low Versus Very High Comparison Screenshots

As you may already know, CI Games has not provided us with a review code for Lords of the Fallen. Even though we tried to get in touch with the publisher numerous times, we never heard back from it. We’ll talk more about this in our PC Performance Analysis (that will go live later this week). Until then, enjoy some comparison screenshots between the game’s Low and Very High settings. Quick note; Deck13 has used a Chromatic Aberation filter that makes the game look awful. As always, the “Very High” shots are on the left whereas the “Low” shots are on the right. Enjoy!

  1. I played with the post processing setting turned off, doing so got rid of the chromatic aberration and blurriness.

  2. Errm, there’s a couple of those that… kinda look better on low. Postprocessing isn’t always a good thing…

  3. So when will these POS devs release that damn patch to disable that frikking joke CA ?
As long as those DI****TS devs keep putting SH*T like that into the games same as when you cant change the FOV, then they DONT deserve your money.

To hell with them and just pirate the s**t out of it, never buy if it aint worth it, and that is by doing pc gamers right, give us choices A-HOLES or GTFO, no money from us, simple as that!

    1. Woot, is it true I mean so that you indeed can disable that CA = Chromatic Aberation ?

Then I might look into getting this game but then again, it feels downright wrong to suport a developer that uses that awful draconian DRM!

      1. Yes you can.
About DRM – what is wrong with it. Everybody is ok with using Steam which is in fact a DRM. As long as there is no downside to legal users I have no problem with it (yes there’s some rumors that this DRM is the reason behind stability and preformance, but there is no way to test this, so I’m gonna ignore it until it’s proven).

        1. Alright then, thanks for the headsup mate 🙂
Well DRM is never good, havent you heard about the controverse before about that draconian DRM, as you said it can give crappy performance and instability and resorce hungry, no one should put up with crap like that!

Why do you think that GOG is praised everywhere.
And Steams DRM you are talking about is a whole other thing, so yeah Steam is totaly okey as it kills zero day piracy. Steam is the only thing a developer should need as when they goes this crap DRM, they will pay for it!

    1. Heh yeah it seems, cant understand that a developer in 2014 can use that awful draconian DRM, everyone hates it and it only will hurt em in the long run. Making stupid decisions like an DRM that nobody wants and that crazy CA that you cant disable, but they atleast they promised a patch for it. So go figure huh!

  4. For me very nice looking comparision. I play in Lords of the Fallen on high resolution so on my PC this game don’t look like on this screen:P But honestly it’s looks good hare and here.
