The Lord of the Rings The Shire Unreal Engine 4

Here is what The Lord of the Rings’ The Shire could look like in Unreal Engine 4

3D artist Liam Tart has recreated the Shire from The Lord of the Rings in Unreal Engine 4. This fan-made custom map can give you an idea of what a new LOTR game could look like on Epic’s engine.

In order to create this scene, the artist used Truesky, as well as Speedtree and a limited use of Megascan overlays for some wood and stone materials.

The end result is amazing, so be sure to check out the following screenshots and video. Unfortunately, this map is not available for download so there is no way you can run it on your PC systems.

Enjoy!

man these what-could-like-in-what-engine things serve no real purpose.i mean it could like anything depending on who is doing it with how much skill, time,…

      1. That’s why I made my post. I got fed up. They serve ZERO purpose like you said. Everytime I see one I feel a great deal of despair inside. It’s like saying, “Here is what a million dollars could look like in your bank account” ?????

  1. 3,2,1 All the predictable cry baby whingers of UE4 demonstrations coming in here to criticize John, and say how terrible the demonstration looks as if they could do better themselves. When they could simply not of clicked on the article they have no interest in.
