Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for Project CARS 3. The game will be using the MADNESS Engine, and these screenshots showcase the mid-engine sports car Koenigsegg Jesko, as well as Formula 3 cars.
Project CARS 3 will feature over 200 elite-brand race and road cars, as well as over 140 global tracks. The game will feature new game modes, as well as a Career/Journey Mode.
Players will be able to customize their cars’ liveries, personalize their drivers, and upgrade their cars with realistic performance parts. The game will have fully scalable assists for all skill levels, and will come with a new tyre model (for more convincing and fun handling).
Furthermore, Project CARS 3 will have a 24-hour cycle, dynamic all-seasons and all-weather racing. The game also promises to have intense crash effects and authentic car contact. Additionally, players can expect enhanced AI.
Lastly, the game will have 12K textures and VR support at launch on the PC.
Project CARS 3 will release on August 28th. You can also find some gameplay videos for this upcoming racing game here.
Enjoy!

man i remember when i saw the first game i was blown away by the graphics, this looks like every other game out there.
That’s because they’re all going for realism. They’re moving towards a common aesthetic, so naturally they’ll start to look the same as they near that goal.
that’s a great point.
In my opinion, the last racing games with unique aesthetics were the original Most Wanted and Driveclub (great balance between photorealism and atmospheric gameplay)
Most wanted definitely had a nice look. It still stands out, even this many years later.
Never played Driveclub, but it does instantly stand out and is recognizable. Racing games in the last 5 or 10 years, not so much.
Pro Street for me still looks great in some aspects even if its a very old game (today)…… example the smoke in the game is one of the most impressive effects I have seen in games in general (last 30. years) and I have seen it pretty much all.
Then you need to see the weather effects in DriveClub, the visuals are ridiculously realistic!
Yeah almost all games look good now. I want Great Career mode, Car Development, Manager/Racer career. Features are king now.
Imagine you create you Racing Team, and then hire drivers for multiple diffrent motorsports venues. Develop cars, find new talent. It’s like you own F1, F2 , F3 teams in the end. When you perform poorly in one of the Motorsport division and need more funds then you sell it. There is so much potential in Racing careers. But every time there are Tier system instead complete ten races now you are in faster car. Do it again. At least F1 2020 is moving in right direction with MyTeam -> they are limited with yearly releases.
Yeah! I can’t agree more!
Ok
I really hope the career mode will be great
Fingers crossed!
Yup !
am I the only person here who thinks that the graphics are somehow underwhelming and almost sub-par? something is off about the lighting, in my opinion.
I think that on some screenshots, it’s because of the time of the day / weather
so basically it will look mediocre at times which is a good portion of the experience.
I hope people will enjoy the game though
Anyway it is nothing final..
Game looks interesting only in screenshots .
I think they made this for people under 14. Gameplay on YouTube is absolute trash..
Just bullshots, it will be the same blurry physics mess like the last game
thanks
