It appears that Amazon Spain has leaked a new Kong game, called Skull Island: Rise of Kong. Skull Island: Rise of Kong will be published by GameMill Entertainment, and you can find below its first screenshots.
According to its description, Skull Island: Rise of Kong will be a third-person action adventure game in which players will avenge the death of Kong’s parents.
Players will conquer waves of primal beasts and defeat their archenemy’s minions to become the rightful king of Skull Island. Additionally, they will discover the history and secrets Skull Island hides as they come across swamps, waterfalls, jungle and caves full of skullites.
From the looks of it, Skull Island: Rise of Kong is going for a Borderlands-like visual style. However, the graphics look really, really average. This is a cross-gen game and it appears to be a double-A quality product. Thus, you should temper your expectations.
Now I don’t know whether this new Kong game will be as bad as The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. At least though in this game you’ll be able to fight your enemies, so that’s something. Still, this doesn’t look like the triple-A game that most King Kong fans have been waiting for.

Love the way you diss the game just on visual style. For all we know it could still play really well. Nothing wrong with the Borderlands style, I still enjoy those games immensely.
