Indiana Jones and the Great Circle screenshots-3

First screenshots for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Yesterday, Microsoft and Bethesda revealed a new Indiana Jones game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. And below, you can find the first official screenshots for it.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be powered by the latest version of the idTech Engine. So, while these screenshots seem to be “touched“, we can expect the final game to come close to these visuals. Or at least I believe so. After all, the idTech Engine is one of the most optimized game engines.

The game will have a mix of combat, stealth, puzzles, and gunplay. And guess what? You can also use Indy’s whip. The devs claim that you can use it to climb around, distract people, or even take down bad guys. So that’s cool.

Indy will be going on a big adventure around the world. In the game, players will go to many cool places, like the forgotten temples of Sukhothai and the pyramids of Egypt, and even the snowy Himalayas. Just so you know, the game takes place in 1937, between the times of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be mainly a first-person game. However, during climbing or cut-scenes, the game will be switching to a third-person camera. My guess is that the devs wanted to avoid any comparisons between this game and Tomb Raider or Uncharted. That’s why the decided to make it a first-person title. And, to be honest, that was a clever move.

Bethesda will release this new Indiana Jones game in 2024. Although there isn’t any ETA, we can expect more details about it in the coming months. And no, there aren’t any PC requirements to share as of yet.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

      1. That tweet is from over 5 years ago. Also, it’s not id working on this, so Lord knows what machinegaymes will do to the engine for this game.

  1. Guys, everything will be perfectly fine as long as the game meets the quota for black women inclusion. They did get the memo right?

  2. I wanna see how big the nibba quota will be, since you can whip the fück out of everyone.
Let’s see how brave these studios are.

  3. The senior, narrative designer for this game was draped in rainbow flags in the video. And the line, “An Indiana Jones game made for modern audiences” can be seen during the video.

  4. I feel like this could be a 1st person uncharted game and do very well with similar gameplay styles (but hopefully more difficult combat)

  5. My guess is that the devs wanted to avoid any comparisons between this game and Tomb Raider or Uncharted.

My guess has more to do with Machine Games having experience in FPS more than with TPS.

    1. why do they always look like that? every damned time…its like being an idiot woke F#$k is a side effect from growing up so GAWD DAMNED unattractive….either fat disgusting women or little girly men …both suffered years of slights form their unapproving father

  6. I love the old classic indiana jones movies. But this game makes me wanna vomit out my insides. Knowing that he’ll be sidelined just like in his last movie.

  7. ugh. The notsees are the ones that have the male finger ratio, that also look like men. They wanted to show us that specifically there with the hand pic, sicko devs. Looks like Lhasa as some shangri-la there too, the place with the carefully hidden long history of abuse and worse, devils put on robes and fool the dumbos, traneehukerwood sales dept helps them a lot also, ms gere-steinberg etc Ford also is tribester btw and more but algebra to children don’t work.

  8. I have been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever before.

  9. It was great seeing how much work you put into it. The picture is nice, and your writing style is stylish, but you seem to be worrying that you should be presenting the next article. I’ll almost certainly be back to read more of your work if you take care of this hike.

  10. I have read some excellent stuff here. Definitely value bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to make the sort of excellent informative website.
