Larian Studios has also released the first official screenshots for Divinity: Original Sin 2. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a single and multiplayer top-down, party-based role-playing game with pen & paper RPG-like levels of freedom. It is coming on the PC, and features turn-based combat, a strong focus on systematic gameplay and a well-grounded narrative. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Beautiful looking screenshots. The updated engine looks great.
This is how the game will look in worst case scenario. They are showcasing it on Original Sin Enhanced Edition engine (coming in October). They are building on top of it, so final game will even better but it already looks stunning.
Well then, I’ll take that worst scenario any time. 🙂
It really does look stunning. At the same time I wait for the EE to come. Did not finish the game. Of course it will be a fresh start.
EDIT: Oh, and thank you for the info.
bfb
they also showed 50min of gameplay (prototype version) on some youtube channels
i watched Angry Joe’s preview with Larian’s founder. i love the idea behind it. getting secret missions to assassinate your “partner” for different reasons etc. it’s gonna be so much fun.
Seems like they’re going for a more realistic look this time.
