Capcom has revealed the first screenshots for the upcoming remake of the first Dead Rising game. In Dead Rising, players take the role of Frank; a photojournalist who ends up trapped in a shopping mall in the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, that is infested with zombies. Although there is no release date yet, we do know that this remaster is being developed by QLOC. Enjoy!

        1. if theyre basically making DR4 a remake of DR then i understand the effort put towards that. A remaster would be great but im thrilled it is at least getting to pc. modders can take it from there. be nicce to revisit my youth in 1080p and 120fps

        2. they did. i can tell the textures are better than 360 version. high resolution as well of course, etc. stay mad.

  1. Is the gameplay good at least ?!? Haven’t played that game. Not gonna play it for the gfx that’s for sure lol.

      1. I think you mean the series got progressively worse. 2 was a joke and not fun, 3 runs at like 20 fps on xb1 and its pc port is a mess and hardly any better. 4 looks like a straight up sellout. series should have stayed in japanese developers hands. western team has good intentions but dont get what made dr1 a masterpiece and all time classic.

  2. QLOC is the company that capcom uses to make PC versions since 2011. They made SSF4 AE SFXTK., REMEBER ME, DRAGON DOGMA, RE4 HD(PC VERSION) E.T.C. All pc versions by them are great!

        1. Not only that but the mouse aim is bad, has a 30 FPS lock (unlocking it cause issues with QTEs), the color filtering is awful, lack of directInput support, and positional audio is bad because some sounds are mono (F*CKING SERIOUS).
Regarding graphics, the Wii version was the only one with some touched up assets. 😐
