While Call of Duty: Black Ops III is not one of the most optimized PC games of 2015, we can all agree that it features the best and most detailed in-game characters we’ve ever seen. Below you can find some screenshots showcasing what Treyarch was able to achieve. Do note that some screenshots contain spoilers, so be sure to avoid this article if you’ve not finished yet the single-player campaign. Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. It’s the next step in Crysis 3’s achievement. Come at me.
Uncanny Gallery.
Not 4k but still..
oh gods! this haircut
NBA 2K16
Weird wax people with blurry textures.
No.
“we can all agree that it features the best and most detailed in-game characters we’ve ever seen.”
No, we can’t.
Why are you making these grand proclamations?
haha …Papa = CODboy!
I think Crysis 3 had even better detail of characters.
Yea and it was like 2-3 years ago ? Cryengine truly is a beast.
I’m sure such a hyperbole statement that “most detailed in-game characters we’ve ever seen” is born from a comparison of the Mr Potato Head characters in Fallout 4.
I think we’ll be pleasantly surprised at the character detail level of the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Disagree with this article, original Crysis did it years ago and still maintained it in Crysis 3 and if they go for another PC exclusive, I think they can achieve even higher quality with their engine.

Here’s at least 4 games that have better characters :

And again, another stupid hyperbole statement just for the sake of clickbaiting.
They better be damn amazing with the ridiculous amounts of money they get. But there is a fundamental difference between graphically well made characters and characters that feel like real persons. Some studios do that right, some dont.
Best In-Game characters but everything else is average at best.
and not even better than crysis’s models look at this.

battlefield hardline frostbite beats everything on the market on face quality …done!
ps: the game is sh**
They are okay, but for some reason i thought the faces in Advanced Warfare looked WAY better and more realistic. This game looked worse to me, face wise.
Whats really amazing is the Battlefield faces. Like damn!

Nah, sorry, the stiff lightning and weird texture in places hurts the overall look hardcore.
