Modder ‘PureDark’ has released an NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen Mod for Silent Hill f. Silent Hill f does not officially support DLSS 4 Frame Gen. However, with this mod, you will be able to use MFG X2, X3, and X4. Well, that is if you own an NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPU.
Alongside MFG, this mod brings support for AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Gen, and Intel XeSS 2.0 Frame Gen. Those without an NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPU will also be able to use DLSS 4 Frame Gen. So, this mod is a must for pretty much everyone. However, there is a downside.
Sadly, this is a paid mod. To gain access to it, you’ll have to join PureDark’s Patreon. This sucks, but hey, it is what it is.
Honestly, I’m shocked that a single modder added Frame Generation in just one day, while the full dev team still hasn’t. Why would they skip it? It doesn’t seem that hard to add, especially since the game already supports DLSS and FSR Super Resolution. So, what gives?
If you want another way to enable DLSS 4 Frame Gen or AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Gen, you can use OptiScaler. I haven’t messed around with it, but it should work with Silent Hill f. Alternatively, NVIDIA users can use Smooth Motion, and AMD users can use AFMF 2. Smooth Motion and AFMF 2 are not as advanced as DLSS or FSR. As such, you might not get great results with them. Still, they are better than nothing.
Another must-have mod for Silent Hill f is Lyall’s SHfFix. This mod removes the 30FPS from the cutscenes. It also adds support for narrower than 16:10 resolutions, and it fixes the cropped FOV. I highly recommend using it.
It’s also worth noting that this DLSS 4 MFG Mod is compatible with the RenoDX HDR Mod. For those unaware, RenoDX HDR is a must-have mod for gaming with HDR. Right now, the game has an awful HDR implementation. By using the RenoDX HDR Mod, you can fix those issues and get a great HDR image.
Our PC Performance Analysis for Silent Hill f will go live this weekend. If you’re getting crashes on NVIDIA GPUs, here’s a quick fix: reinstall your drivers. After doing that, I was able to play for three hours without a single crash. This shows the problem isn’t related to the CPU or memory. It’s the same issue seen in Borderlands 4, so let’s hope NVIDIA fixes it soon.
Stay tuned for more!

He doesn't care about "le game community" if you paid just a little bit of attention. He is just milking news stories from the newest game release.
