RoboCop: Rogue City Patch #03 Released & Detailed

Teyon has just launched the third patch for RoboCop: Rogue City, and it shared a detailed list of all the changes. This update focuses on making the game more stable and enhancing its visuals. So, let’s dive in and see all of these changes.

The third update for RoboCop: Rogue City makes the game more stable by fixing 22 crashes. The team hasn’t given specific details about these crashes, but the game should be more reliable now. In addition, this patch adds a new graphics setting. As such, you can choose between Lumen and SSR for reflections. SSR will make the game run better on mid-tier or low-end PC systems. However, they will also downgrade its image quality.

It’s also worth noting that this patch removes the automatic DLSS choice. Instead, the game will now use by default TAA. This should make the lives of those benchmarking the game easier. Not only that but the developers have brought a small fix for Lumen reflections. Thus, reflections will now look a bit better than before.

Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its full patch notes.

    1. There are slow news days. I hope you don’t want this site to turn into another PCGamer. They have an army of staff there that still can’t come up with a lot of news. Mostly fluff. Hell, a couple of days ago there was a full article pushing a mini-fridge for sale and how great it was to keep sodas cold when gaming. I sh*t you not. Pushing a damn mini-fridge to make the site ad money is gaming news there.

        1. I’ve had one for about 25 years …… I put it in this room when it was still the control room for my demo studio. Now the control room is my computer room and the studio area is a full feature Electronics Lab on one end and 3D printers and CNC mill on the other end …. I also have a mini-microwave and a coffee brewer down here …. still need to go upstairs for the bathroom

      1. dont forget how they start spamming their site with BLACKFRIDAY !! BEST BLACKFRIDAY DEALS!! THE BEST HARDAWRE YOU CAN BUY ON BLACKFRIDAY !!

Good that Blackfriday deals are not allowed in my country..

    2. I get what you’re saying, but these past couple of day days have been really slow without any major news.

      1. Then find some topics and make posts about them. There’s tons of mods, optimization guides, hardware news that matter for a gamer, you could arrange community matches/ in game meet ups, etc. I would love to meet you guys in an elden ring tournament for example, or in For Honor

    1. That’s because of software lumen.

Only way to fix it is to use hardware lumen which 99.999999 percent do not use cus of the consoles.

        1. Not that I know of.

I think there are some tweaks you can do though.

Unfortunately at the moment ue5 is for the consoles and nothing apart from that game that uses the Nvidia ue5 branch do hw ray tracing which is laughable.

Complete step back using sw tricks.

  1. TAA looks far better than anything else in this game so dlss and fsr are useless anyway. Now if they could just fix the noisy and grainy reflections it’d be okay. And when I say okay I mean you’ll still need a 4090 to run it because of the ray traced lighting.

  2. I wish they would do an arcade mode of the larger rungun levels separate from the rpg/story, really tight and focused and better more custom weapons. Even have a blade in there for mele or have a boxing focused part with some dudes wearing garbage cans lol I think a COJ gunslinger type mode would be really great or would have I guess. IMO it’s too heavy for the wild graphical swings you get, sometimes amazing muddy streets and enviros mixed w 2010 looking cars and interiors at times, not that great looking npcs mostly, etc I did go back and rewatch the first one but really had no idea there was 3 total movies. Second was ok w the third being pretty bad.
