Counter-Strike 2 October 17th Patch released and detailed

Valve just dropped a fresh update for Counter-Strike 2 on October 17th. In this update, it has added a new sound for the last 10 seconds of the bomb beeping. It has also made it possible for command aliases to be more precise by using subtick accuracy.

In the October 17th Patch, Valve has also added the voice for the missing KSK agent. The team also made the knife sounds louder, so you can hear them better even if they’re not right next to you. And there are other changes too, like making sure things sound right when you can’t see your enemies, and making footsteps easier to hear.

This update also comes with some important gameplay improvements. Valve has fixed a problem where players could see through ceilings. The team has also fixed another issue where a defused bomb could get in the way when players wanted to pick up a nearby gun.

Like always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its full list of tweaks, fixes and changes.

  1. Tons of updates from early and later beta to this day, and still people CAN’T use they native resolution in FULLSCREEN mode… You must select windowed or fullscreen windowed to have you native resolution.

The same problem is with monitor refresh rates.
Holy sh*t, that’s some big f*ck up dev bs.

    1. The fun fact is that there can be whatever you want wrong with the game, poeple will still play it, and valve will still release fix with a dropper, but the core of the game is still that of CSGO which was full of sht, and to this days still is, and will be.

    2. Wouldn’t it be better to set a lower resolution and change the graphics settings to “medium” in order to avoid latency, framerate and improve fluidity? That way, you’ll be sure to see and target the enemy, and you won’t be out of sync… I’m just asking.
