Yakuza 0 is now available on the PC

SEGA has announced that Yakuza 0 is finally available on the PC. In order to celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also released a new PC trailer that you can find below.

The PC version of Yakuza 0 will support uncapped framerates and 4K resolutions. Unfortunately, though, SEGA has also used the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, something that may disappoint those that boycott the games using it.

In Yakuza 0, players will fight like hell through Tokyo and Osaka as junior yakuza Kiryu and Majima. Players will take a front row seat to 1980s life in Japan in an experience unlike anything else in video gaming.

Players will be able to switch between three different fighting styles instantaneously and beat up all manner of goons, thugs, hoodlums, and lowlifes. Take combat up a notch by using environmental objects such as bicycles, sign posts, and car doors for bone-crunching combos and savage take-downs.

    1. Because they think Bayonetta and Vanquish will sell 800k like Valkyria Chronicles but those two games failed their sales expectation and because of that, they blame piracy…and you know how the story end….

      1. doubt it’s because of Vanquish, they delayed Sonic Mania for TWO WEEKS just to slap denouvo on it
and guess what, it was cracked in a day

Sega are either retar*** or they simply don’t care enough about PC revenue

        1. Sega is special case from Japanese publisher…they too paranoid their game will be cracked and they afraid to lose every cent money they spend to Port a games even if it’s and very old game…a think that not like other Japanese publisher…

      2. And how about vanquish??? they port it to PC because “fans” asked it but it seems not sold well

  1. The port is very good so far. I’m playing and working on the review right now, and there are plenty of graphics options, and the game has an uncapped FPS option. I’ve got it locked to 120FPS right now, and I get a constant 120FPS even with all settings maxed on my GeForce 980Ti.

        1. Many times they results didn’t fit other websites tests 😉
In my case, they performance was lower than on PC with the same specs, from the benchmark 😉

      1. Most if not all gamegpu benchmarks are based on a 30 second run in a random area, you can see the vids. So this most of the time doesn’t represent real experience when playing.

    1. I’ll add that I played it on my old PC (i7 920 @ stock and a gtx 670, and was able to run 1080p Ultra preset above 60 without issues (No SSAA).

The SSAA option (supersampling) is very demanding as you would expect. Here is an example:On my gtx 1080 with an i7 6700k the performance was as follows (at the exact same location) with the fps uncapped:

      1080p – no SSAA 121fps
      1080p – 2x SSAA 121fps
      1080p – 4x SSAA 111fps
      1080p – 8x SSAA 77fps

At 4k with no SSAA the fps stands at 105fps in that location.

Keyboard controls work, but real Yakuza play the game with a gamepad 🙂

      1. Exactly… There is no way he is running the game “maxed” and getting 120fps. To run the game “maxed” you need to enable 8xSSAA. Otherwise it is not “maxed”. And he is claiming 120fps “maxed” on a 980ti! Come on… Nick needs to get his facts straight.

  2. Did they add anything from the newest version in the series such as being able to smash up the stores during fights? Or is this just a straight port with some makeup?

  3. Well it’s Denuvo but….
Game prize is so loooooow, port is SUBARASHI
Grab this bad boy for cheap:
On Voidu for 11.94€ with the CODE: SCHOOLSOUT
    Have fun

  4. On my tests (6700k, 1080, 16GB@3000). Getting 120-130fps at 4k maxed, and at 1440p I am getting a near locked 160fps. That is with FXAA off though because I prefer the clearer image (and Yakuza Zero actually has great IQ, even on console).

    1. All the PC gamers I’ve seen buying a PS4 just to play it seem to care. And the other guys who are just crying about it also seem to care.

  5. As a long time Yakuza fan I am super glad this game is on PC now. The more people that get to experience this amazing world, the better.
