Everstone Games has announced that Where Winds Meet will be released on PC on December 27th. However, there is a catch. The game will be available only in China at first. We also got a new trailer that you can find below.
In Where Winds Meet, you’ll play as a hero shaped by chaos, embarking on a chivalrous journey filled with danger and battles. You will also be able to expand your skills to boost your chances of survival. For example, you can become a lifesaving doctor, a wealth-gaining merchant, or even explore ancient Kaifeng City as an NPC.
Combat in Where Winds Meet will be a key part, with Wuxia skills, attacks, and counterattacks playing a major role. You’ll be able to even use a Tai chi skill to turn the enemy’s attacks back onto himself. According to the devs, you’ll have the freedom to define your combat style.
The game also promises to pack a free construction system with 600 authentic antique components and an environment system. These will allow players to interact with the whole world. Oh, and since this is an open-world title, you can expect to enjoy some beautiful wide vistas.
Right now, there is no ETA on when the game will come out in the West. My guess is that this will happen sometime in 2025. Moreover, there is no Steam or EGS page for it as of yet.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
Thanks Gematsu

its not a catch, its a feature
The Chinese still have a Collective identity something we in the west have had washed out of us…
Fck their collective identity if it comes at a cost of living in semi-dystopian society.
different dystopias, for different folks. least they aint got tr*nny 10-year olds….
Communism is evil.
WTF? What the chinese have is a very abstruse language, you insecure toddler.
Toddlers love and are obsessed with collective identities and how they give a people a means and drive to advance send identity. wtf are you a J@p.
This game seems to have its own version of "Sephiroth" in it.
Every Chinese character in these games is Sephiroth. They are always tall thin long haired femboys.
Gotta admit. Chinese devs are absolutely killing it. With games like black myth wukong and this, they're revitalising gaming industry again. The art and characters here are phenomenal.
They're killing it by releasing one game and a trailer for another.
nice
Man, they nailed the Look, but having played Guijan3 this year( solid Hack & Slash, 85 hrs to beat). I'd love to see the ch*nks move past Wuxia, and try Sci-fi/future techno-China or even Blood and Soul realism, they've had the technical chops for years now.
Oh ya!
It looks amazing.
Looks cool af.
