Warner Bros Is Offering Full Refunds For Batman: Arkham Knight Until The End Of 2015

Warner Bros has announced that it is offering full refunds for Batman: Arkham Knight until the end of 2015, regardless of how long PC gamers have played the game. Naturally, Valve will be offering refunds for Batman: Arkham Knight in 2016 and onwards, however these refunds will be only accepted if players have not exceeded the game’s time limit.

As Warner Bros stated:

“Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately). For those of you that hold onto the game, we are going to continue to address the issues that we can fix and talk to you about the issues that we cannot fix.”

As you may have noticed, we’ve not published yet our PC Performance Analysis. SLI/Crossfire is still not working and since Rocksteady will release new patches for the game, we’ve decided to postpone our article until the next update hits Steam.

  1. For those who don’t use sli/crossfire the performance analysis from Digital Foundry says it still sucks a*s performance wise,

    1. More like, they accept optimization is still 6+ months out, assuming they’re actually working on it, & they didn’t just decide “we fixed the major things, just slap on a 12GB recommendation & f*ck it.”

      We’ll see what the next Patch brings.

  2. they said we have the best engineer working to fix all the problems. well after sitting and talking with each other they came to conclusion just put 12Gb ram recommended setting thats it were done here good job everyone release the game hope our fans wont notice what we have done here

  3. Another good example of devs sucking a controller. With vibration on. Selected on purpose. They like it.
    One day people will learn… one day an awful optimized game will be release… one day that game it is not gonna sell a single copy… till that day, they are gonna keep f@c$ing us.
    They are telling you WE DON’T CARE.
    They just want to forget all this mess.
    Ps: i dont even want to check the poor souls on wb forums.

  4. How the last three batman games which are on the same engine worked well and this not? Something weird is happening here, I smell next batman exclusive to consoles.

    1. what worked well?!!
      only asylum as it was Dx.9 city &origin were plagued with bugs and framerate issues on DX 11
      RockSteady has a very weak programming department and the heavily modified enging they are using is broken

      1. I played all of them at release day. I didnt have any issues. The next Batman game will be unreal engine 4 with means it will be mroe optimzed for pc than unreal engine 3 Batman games. And before the Arkham games i also had played the other batman games on pc which again didnt have any issues.

    2. All WB games are coming to pc so it will come too. Also with Steam Machnies coming next week pc is becoming a console too so if a game is exculive to consoles it will also include pc due to this new ”console version” of it being released.

    1. no that means you can buy it next year when the price will be low and the game will be somewhat more playable wit newer hardware and more patches.

      1. Main problem is UE3, draw calls count and CPU’s IPC, none of those will
        be changed as far as I know (almost impossible or would expect enormous amount
        of work), so faster HW will not going to be much help, especially if CPU IPC is
        increased in range of few % every year.

        1. 3k DSR you mean 1440p DSR? I hope that my 970 will be able to also run it 3k DSR 60 fps. As for 4k DSR no one can run it at 60 fps due to bad optimization.

          1. 1K = 1920×1080 = 1080p
            1.78K = 2560x1440p = 1440p
            2K = 2715×1527 = 1527p
            2.25K = 2880×1620 = 1620p
            3K = 3325×1871 = 1871p
            4K = 3840×2160 = 2160p

  5. Anyone notice this website auto-direct us to a page asking us to install and upgrade firefox… which other wbsites have no such thing. This website is bugged?

  6. Ubisoft and Warner Bros are officially in my blacklist! EA it has a lot flaws, but at least their porting on Pc are very good.

    1. Shadow of Mordor and Mad Max are two of the more optimized games for PC. In the case of Arkham Knight they just dropped the ball or simply don’t give a sh*t about us.

      This is a really shameful situation an Unreal Engine 3 game requiring 12 GB of RAM, with stutter issues and texture pop in, that is just lack of care. And like always NVIDIA gameworks just makes everything worse.

    2. You know, i do respect Warner Bros a little more though for admitting their mistake, pulling the game, and even offering refunds for the game. Its a hell of a lot more than what Ubisoft, or EA would do. Although very unacceptable, but heres to hoping they patch it and learn from their mistakes.

  7. Lets face it, they never cared about the PC version from the first place, they rushed the PC version without testing and they “hoped” it will work well, but of course it didn’t work and now they trying to justify that by saying ” we have our best engineers working on it blah blah” they are too politically correct too afraid to admit they don’t care about PC version..end of story man they keep beating around the bush..
