Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 new screenshots-2

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released in October 2025

Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released in October 2025. According to the teams, the game has been delayed so that it can meet the technical quality standards that its fans expect.

Right now, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is in a late development stage. In other words, the game is not in development hell. Instead, TCR is working hard on quality assurance to ensure it is stable and free of bugs that could disrupt the player experience.

Now I don’t expect Bloodlines 2 to be bug-free. However, it should at least be in a better state than the first Bloodlines game.

In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, you get to explore the World of Darkness and climb the ranks in the vampire world. The game takes place in Seattle, a city full of fascinating and sometimes dangerous people and groups. This sequel to the beloved classic lets you make choices that can shake up the balance of power.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be powered by Unreal Engine 5. And while it will use UE5, it won’t be exclusive to Epic Games Store. Thus, you can expect to see it on Steam on launch day.

Finally, 505 Games shared the following video. This video packs a few gameplay sequences. So, if you are looking forward to it, you should at least check it out.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

    1. You think this is gonna be good?
I had my hopes up as well, until I saw the last lengthy gameplay stream and since then have my doubts.

      1. Nope, multiple delays, multiple devs and direction and now this release date.
Those short gameplay clips in dev diaries looked very appealing to me but I’m not that hopeful.
Sometimes these small studios from east want to prove themselves so there might be a small chance.

        1. Is England in the "East"? The Chinese Room is an English studio, as far as I know.

I don't have my hopes up but the game may be at least okay… although not a proper sequel to the original. With all the constant half-assed turd games being released, the bar is pretty darn low. So that may work in this game's favor.

I really haven't seen enough gameplay to judge.

          1. Well, I was wrong then.
Let me walk you through what was going on in my mind.
I vaguely rememer looking up chinese room once and seeing they've done nothing but boring walking sims. I was very disappointed.
In my mind, tencent owns either this IP (world of darkness?) or chinese room, I might be wrong but this was exasperated by the fact that some dude said something about covid dollar in the comments.
I'd be happy if we get something on par with deus ex HR and MKD. I know they sucked compared to the original game but I absolutely love those games.

    2. bro, your trolling has really decreased in quality the last few years but now you have hit a new low. No one falls for this.

  1. VTMB is in my top 3 favorite games ever, so I'll still keep an eye of this, but I have zero expectations.😩

    1. this game has nothing to do with that game. it's some slop factory abusing an old name with brand recognition. ZERO of the same people are involved and the devs have already said weird stuff about the original as well (because they know their slop will not live up to anyone's expectation).

  2. Game looks very atmospheric, I love the art style but such a long delay just for polish sounds rather fishy, there game must be really broken in the current state. It`s best they take their time, hopefully the game will be fixed and not canceled.

  3. they're gonna spend hell of a lot more time to fix the performance issues oblivious to the fact that the UE5 crap performance is not an issue but indeed a feature. but since i'm the enjoyer of the 1st bloodline and redemption, i'm looking forward to this one.
