Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines feature

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines Is Now Available on GOG & Is DRM-Free

Great news for all RPG fans as Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is now available on GOG and is DRM-free. This basically means that you can get Troika’s classic RPG for 17,59€, and it comes with 1-month refund policy (so you can return it in case you did not like it).

Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines delivers a new type of RPG experience-one that blends all the core elements of a traditional RPG with the graphical richness, immediacy and brutal combat of a first-person action game.

The game plunges players into the dark and gritty vampire underworld of modern-day L.A. as a creature of the night.

Players will develop their character’s powers, interact with other characters and embark on story-driven quests as they battle mortals and other vampires with an incredible array of vampire powers and weapons.

Powered by Valve’s Source Engine, the game is based on White Wolf’s popular Vampire: The Masquerade pen-and-paper RPG series and its official clans.

Have fun!

  1. It’s honestly embarrassing that Valve just let Activision dump the original CD files for the Steam version considering the game won’t even boot up on 64 bit systems (and the vanilla version is a buggy mess). GOG reached out to the developer of the unofficial patch and it comes pre-installed with the latest version of that. I don’t think it’s worth $20 considering how frequently the game goes on sale, but I’ve got it wishlisted for later.

      1. this game was before dlc era began so if there was dlc is=t was an expansion which this game had.this was before dlc started.

    1. Mods will help. to a large extent, though engine limitations are always a factor.
Original source Engine for this, first source game, I’ve read, but not confirmed that.

  2. A true CRPG gem, matched by almost nobody, and the only game I completed 6 times.

  3. One more game removed from Steam, and replaced with an Offline installer, much more important than DRM free (Nice to get as well), for modding.
Only 82 to go, before I remove Steam (was 130 at the start of this year).
Valve’s own games on GOG?, I doubt that, but it’s an offline installer I want.
